Very very happy with it. It takes a little bit of experience to balance it but once you get use to it it will be easy easy to use. It holds my dslr with a big lense.

This is my first gimbal, great quality and easy to use. I attached a grip in the same position as the new crane 3. So no problem with handling or weight.

I LOVE this new rig, and am soo happy I made this purchase. The level of professionalism that comes from the shots this thing helps to create is nothing short of amazing. If I showed the Ronin-S to myself 10 years ago my mind would have literally been blown! I create stock footage for a living, and this REALLY helps to create the most professional clips possible. Would buy again for my Panasonic LUMIX G9 again and again!

Great gimbal. Once DJI releases comparability for more cameras then it will be phenomenal. It’s aweaome, no complaints thus far.

THis is one of the favorite things to use for achieving still videography. However, it can be heavy. it is future proof with space for attachments of different kinds. It handles heavy payloads.

For the money, this is probably one of the smoothest and most feature-rich handheld gimbals you can get. I had to update the firmware to the latest once I set the system up, but after that everything worked no problem. Helpful tip: If you have a Canon 5D MKIII, then you will need to buy a specific camera control cable to make the gimbal controls compatible with your camera (the specific cable is the mini USB one).

Using this thing for films and so far it's pretty good. Initially my footage was still shakey after the balancing until I learned about the autotune feature that is in the app. Silky smooth footage. Their Ronin-M is a piece of trash because of the crap, proprietary batteries. But this isn't about that so I'll refrain from additional trashing. This Ronin-S is great.

This gimbal has changed my whole work flow, it’s heavy but all the things you can do with it will make me grow a bigger forearm lol. Great gimbal for heavy payloads like 1DX mark ii and a heavy Lens like a 70-200mm. It’s heavy but the quality and things that you will be able to do will make you keep pushing thru it. Great product solid and well made. Only ‘flaw’ is that is noisy.

With every new piece of gear you're going to run into some issues as to how to properly operate it to its fullest potential. I would highly suggest looking through YouTube videos to see how to properly balance, strengths, etc after going through the manual. The build quality is outstanding. I use this primarily for Real Estate Video tours.

I learned a lot setting this thing up, but once I got it setup, it was truly amazing. I use it for my Canon Mark IV and it works perfectly (which is surprising for such a brute of a camera.) If you get this, just be patient and read the directions thoroughly first. Step 1 plays a big role in Step 2, and so on and so forth. Enjoy!

I've owned a couple different things for getting steady footage (ronin-m, glidecam) and the ronin s is definitely the easiest and has the best features for the money. Used it on a couple jobs already and love it. I shoot with a Sony a7riii and the zeiss 55mm and it was super easy to set up and handles the set up like a champ.

I had to replace my first Crane due to theft. I researched between newest Crane & Ronin S. I am 100% glad I chose the Ronin! As with my DJI Mavic & Phantom 4 Pro, DJI is the front runner in their products. I chose it mainly for the fact my D7200 & D7500 screens are in full view. I keep being surprised every time I use my Ronin. Much easier to balance. If I forget to take off my lens cap, it does not phase her. I mount a cold shoe mic. with cord, no problem. I've been using my 11-16 wide angle lens and no matter the zoom, no problem. With the included interface cord the focus wheel and other controls interact with Nikon. The 360 degree mode is great fun & creative. My biggest pluses are the ability to add and remove accessories, not lens, without affecting balance, auto tune of motors, quiet quiet motors & its interface with Nikon finally!

I have had this tool for a few months now and every time i take it out to use I find myself in awe with the results. With proper set up and use which takes sometime to get used to, not only is the footage you get wonderful, but it instills future confidence with such a robust and profound structure. Cheers

I have a Fujifilm X-T2 and the Ronin S is not compatible. I tried it out and it doesn't look like DJI is working on a fix any time soon. Check to make sure you have a compatible system before you purchase. Gimbal itself is awesome. The 3 star rating is for DJI leaving out a huge segment of the market.

He Compatible, sorry your camera is not supported. We are currently working incredibly hard expanding our camera compatibility list and while there have been no announcements regarding Fuji compatibility, it's not off the table that it won't one day get added. Until then, enjoy the gimble and all its stabilization, ease of use, long battery life, and more. DJISupport

This was my first gimbal and I didn’t know what to expect. I have a Canon 5D Mark iV with some heavy lenses and I was surprised by how sturdy and well built this system is. I am truly impressed with it.
