Overall I can highly recommend this Gimbal for use with DSLR’s. (tested with Nikon Z7 and D850). Solid construction, works well, hours upon hours of battery life. It does take some getting used to and practice with balancing / panning so not for the amateur videographer!

Great camera gimbal. Works like a dream. A little heavy but the build quality is amazingly high.

The DJI Ronin S Gimbal has allowed me to venture off of the tripods and into the action and intimate space of the subject at hand. If properly balanced (and it does take some practice), you can pull off incredible steady shots with ease. Happy filmmaking!

Product is great, gets the job done! Make sure you learn how to use it and stabilize it first because if you don’t you’ll miss out on some pretty cool features. It is not that difficult to stabilize you just have to understand how each motor is tested!

A great tool. It has a bit of a learning curve. You definitely need to download the app to make this work. Watch a YouTube to learn to balance it. Once you get it figured out you will love it I promise.

Man, this gimble is where it’s at. Now it does look like a weapon, but it’s not. I’ve been stopped by TSA specifically because of this. Besides that, the build is strong and pans smoothly. It can carry my 1DX Mark ii with ease.

The Ronin S has a great build, but it is over a pound heavier than the other leading gimbals, and the camera controls don't work with anything but a Panasonic GH5 right now. The angled axis is great as it keeps the camera screen in view, but this is really the only advantage the Ronin S has compared to the many others.

This is such a nifty gadget to have in your arsenal if you can afford it. I would highly recommend for getting smooth cinematic shots and the ability to have automation in your workflow with the best in the game.

I originally purchased the Moza Air gimbal but wasn't happy with the quality and build. So, I purchased the Ronin S gimbal and I am extremely happy with the quality, build and performance. I now use it on every video shoot I do. Absolutely LOVE it!

This is an awesome stabilizer for a more advanced person. Could get away with a cheaper stabilizer for beginner at a cheaper price. But this a a great stabilizer and does everything I want. But still waiting for Dji to get follow focus for Sony.

Amazing build quality but a bit overkill if you're using it with mirrorless cameras. It's better with larger DSLR cameras. It's quite big for traveling in my opinion. I would recommend the SC version if you're planning to take it on the plane.

This is the best gimbal I have used. I always said that went DJI came out with a single handed gimble that I would buy it, and this did not disappoint. I’ve tried numerous other devices, including the Crane, and none of them worked this well.

This gimbal is incredible. The only caveat is the ease of use and the weight. However, if you are willing to make it work you won't be disappointed. This gimbal is not for beginners, but if you are willing to learn, watch some tutorials and practice, it will change the way you film.

It works! Works great paired with Sony a7iii. Awesome for shooting video and used by many friends and colleagues that are in the music industry. Great for traveling, and shooting live performances!

I use this gimbal occasionally with my Lumix cameras. Easy to set up. Durable and high quality. Comes with a nice case too. If you like filming, you’ll enjoy using this and appreciate the buttery smooth motion.

Clear and Precise directions make for an easy set up. Very smooth transitions for taking videos with a DSLR camera. Light weight and very easy to carry with the grip that is included.

We had the Ronin M first and while it was good, it was bulky and not as easy to set up. Now the Ronin S is a different story. This has already paid for itself. Highly recommend to any videographers out there.

It is a heavy rig to carry for travel but the features are insane. The grip feels nice and having the ability to mount a heavier camera is a plus. Just need the follow focus to be compatible with Sony ><
