Doctor Sleep does a really great job of adapting Stephen King's novel, while relating it to Stanley Kubrick's film version of The Shining. Great performance by Ewen McGregor as Danny, and i enjoyed the references to the horrors of the Overlook Hotel, while telling it's own story.

This is a very good movie I Havel watched it several times the digital copy is great I use it on my Apple TV. The pickup from the store was very easy they brought it to me.thank you

There are some good performances in this movie that make it worth the watch. Overall, not as memorable as The Shining but not a copy of it. If you like The Shining, this is worth watching to see what happens next in the storyline.

I like Kubrick's film but I'm also a fan of the original King vision so I really enjoyed this movie because it kind of blends both styles together and works well. It's long but entertaining and you gotta love the classic music when it plays in the background. Recommended.

A strong sequel to a Masterpiece of horror cinema. In my opinion of course. I really enjoyed it and overall thought it was a great story. Bought in 4k and it looks and sounds great.

Great casting and great performances. It’s hard to live up to Stanley Kubrick’s vision let alone adding to it but this film does a great and respectable job of doing just that.

Had heard decent reviews but was pleasantly surprised at how entertaining and original Dr. Sleep was. Not the same as the book but ties the two stories together well. My wife loved it too!

I loved the Shining but this is so much better...keeps you on the edge of your seat through out the movie...little creepy

A sequel that is in many ways is better than the original. Doctor Sleep has greater insights into the shining that the movie The Shining does not.

This movie was a great continuation of life after the Overlook Hotel in The Shinning. I loved the story line, also really enjoyed the directors cut version of this! The Steelbook is fantastic!

This movie is a sequel to "The Shining" but can be viewed without having seen "The Shining" since it is not only a lot better but also explains the events necessary to the story in retrospect.

This wonderful film occurs many years after the events of “The Shining.” Danny Torrance, now grown, battles against The True Knot, to prevent them from feeding on those who possess the Shining.

Bought this copy for myself and watched the extended version. I was not disappointed. Then went back and purchased a copy for my sister. I would definitely recommend this movie.

loved the way it show what Danny went through as an adult after the incident. How he befriended a girl who was extremly powerful. Bad guys are ruthless. Why the hotel did what it did.

This is very good and overdue sequel to one of my favorite movies of all time, The Shining. It was nice to revisit old characters and the famous Overlook Hotel. Very well done.

The movie and the ease of ordering online was fantastic. Movie was pre-ordered, so I expected it to be delivered day of release or next day. It took a week to receive, which was disappointing.

This film takes place many years after The Shining and while it doesn't come close to measuring up to that film, it still is interesting as we explore more of the world that King created. I would recommend the 4K if you have the setup. The blu ray also looks good as well.

This movie is much much different than The Shining snd that's what makes this movie "shine." If you are a fan of Stephen King or even The Shining, give this movie a watch!

When I first heard about this movie I had my doubts, but I'm happy to say that I was very wrong, and this is a great sequel to the Shining, one of the all time classics! This 4K has great picture and audio, and a decent assortment of extras make this easy to recommend

I was blown away with this film. Never thought anyone could manage a follow up to The Shining. Really well written/adapted. Great picture on this Blu-Ray.
