We bought the movie because we loved watching this sequel in the movie theater. Definitely great movie. I recommend it to any fan of the Shinning or Stephen King movies.

Love Stephen King. An addition to the Shining. Not as scary as I hoped, but still worth watching. A little predictable. Will watch it again.

I love Kings stories even when the movie has to stray from the book due to time constrains. It still conveys the crux of the source material and the performances are great in my opinion.

Excellent follow up to The Shining. It even manages to recreate moments from Kubrick's movie and simultaneously be a sequel to both that movie and King's original novel.

Great movie. Differs a little from the book, but the changes make sense. At times a horror movie, but mostly just a really good story. Great follow up to the Shining.

Watched the Shinning again first before because it has been a long time since I saw it. Doctor Sleep picks up where the Shinning left off many years later. It was better than I thought. Stephen King actually liked this movie better than the Shinning.

The movie is a great follow-up to The Shining. It stayed true to the original theme. The only thing that could have made the movie better, would have been a cameo appearance from Jack!

I really like this movie. Looks and sounds great. Rebecca Ferguson is a terrifyingly charming villain. The extra blu-Ray has the directors cut. Can’t wait to watch that.

Such an amazing movie. Really beautiful how it plays as a sequel to the book and Kubrick’s film and done wonderfully so for people who are married to one specific version.

The Shining is one of my favorite horror classics and the sequel does a great transition to both the stories. Ewan McGregor is amazing as Danny and I enjoyed the villains in this film.

This film is great. No sequel could match The Shining but this does as best as it can. Perfectly blending the movie and the book story lines together. Highly recommend.

This movie is great and the release looks awesome. I’m not sure why the theatrical cut is 4K, while the director’s extended cut is on a Blu-ray, but I’m happy to have both nonetheless.

This is the first movie in many years that I Enjoyed watching Every Single Minute it was on. I still haven't watched the directors cut of the film but am Highly looking forward to it.

I purchased this movie and started watching it, then withing a few minutes i found out it was a sequel to the SHINNING i got really excited and the movie was that much better.

If you liked the shining you should like this. Very true to the book and parts are true to the shining movie. Got it for a great price and came with a slip cover.

I didn't know what this was about when I saw it then I learned it was the sequel to the Shinning and that piqued my interest. It was much better than I anticipated and after.watxhing it I went back and watched the Shinning with a new appreciation.

If judging the film for the film it is, DOCTOR SLEEP is pretty fantastic. If judging it as a faithful adaptation of the novel, it was merely OK. The final act is incredibly well done, but so much of what makes the novel one of King’s best is noticeably absent.
