I can’t believe this movie underperformed while it was out in theaters. It is a worthy sequel to The Shinning and deserved to be recognized as such.

Wow...I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I did enjoy it. Would recommend for fans of The Shining

A little different than the book. Liked the ending in the book better, but still liked the movie overall. Acting was good. I think Stephen King would have liked it.

Horror, Mystery & Thriller and very entertaining film. Transferred super well to Ultra High Def. Great storyline. Highly Recommend!

Though it doesn't carry the same impact as the book, it is an enjoyable watch that shows what happened to Danny Torrance. Ewan MacGregor gives a great performance.

This movie is so good wow. It goes along with THE SHINING perfectly and this also has the DIRECTORS CUT which is even better then the original. LONG LIVE THE KING.

Dope movie check it out. I’m a big fan of the shinning but if you’ve never seen the first one you can still watch this one and enjoy it very much

I absolutely loved the book so naturally was quite interested in seeing how the turned it into a movie, and for the most part they did a fairly good job, with some solid performances. If you can, read the book first.

Very good movie was cast perfectly. When Ewan sat down at the bar in the lodge, it was so well done I could see Jack Nicholson in his character.

I enjoyed this movies, especially since it included the "Director's cut" as well. If your'e into the Stephen King, you'll definitely enjoy this movie.

After reading both Shining and Doctor Sleep, you can really appreciate the ending of this film! The 3 hour extended version doesn’t even feel like 3 hours!!

Movie/ book isn't as good as the original Shining. But the acting is good, great visual quality, grain is appropriate. Audio mix is ok, not great.

I have the book but never had time to read it. I love Stephen King and therefore I you can never go wrong purchasing anything from him. Good movie

The shinning is one of my favorite horror movies and I was so excited when I heard that they were doing a sequel. Perfect casting choices all around.

If you loved the Shining this movie is ready to feed off your love, but it’s also got a lot of adventure to it. Almost family friendly until the horror sets in.
