this is an excellent sequel, almost as good as the 1st. great look a-likes and an excellent story line. one really graphic torture scene of a kid that I could have done without, but other than than this was an excellent movie.

Doctor Sleep was one of my favorite films of 2019 and it’s really a great horror film. The 4k quality is great but the Dolby audio is the real standout.

Just watched the movie this past weekend and while it's not like the movie that this follows that scared me when I was a kid, this is a nice follow up and definitely worth picking up. Kept me entertained the entire time.

I might get some flack for this but I think the story is more compelling in comparison to the "Shining". Just my opinion. Visually not as appealing as the Shining. Watch and you'll be intrigued for sure.

It deserves a good rating because besides its slightly average story(imo), they still managed to make me watch the full 3 hours in one sitting without feeling bored for a minute and enjoying it. Good camera work too.

Love Stephen King books. The Shining is a great movie and Doctor Sleep is a great sequel to our collection of Stephen King's movies.

If your a fan of The Shining than you will like Doctor Sleep. Ewan MacGregor was great in this movie and Rebecca Ferguson played a good villain.

Loved the artwork on this Steelbook, must have. The movie was good, wish they did facial reconstruction like the Irishman for the scenes from the shining

The film was more enjoyable than expected, if nothing amazing. This release was frustrating though as text on the bottom of the packaging made it seem as though a digital copy would be provided, but it wasn't. A physical version of both the theatrical and Director's Cuts were provided, though. Movie would get 4 stars, but lack of a digital version and slight confusion in that regard brings it down to 3. This was a Black Friday deal though, so maybe the normal-priced version provides a digital copy? If that's important to you, make sure you're getting the version you want.

Doctor Sleep is a continuation of the story that began with The Shining & follows an adult Danny Torrance. A great film for fans of horror & suspense !

Great movie. Read book first. Am not disappointed by movie. Was awesome in theatre, but extended edition is better. More rounded. Would recommend.

This was a fantastic movie. It followed the end of The Shining to make sense (the books are better and end different). Acting and effects were superb.

I really loved this movie, liked the way it played off the Shining , with Danny all grow up . Lots of action . Good story line . It was really Good :)

Doctor Strange looks fantastic in uhd 4k, it also has a great sounding Dolby Atmos soundtrack. If the like The Shinning you will love Doctor Sleep!!!!

Great movie in a great 4k format for watching at home. Watching it in theater was the best thing, but having it on 4k is not bad too

Excellent film, highly recommend this edition because you get about 30 minutes extra movie to watch with this Director’s Cut edition!

This was an amazing follow up to The Shining. Set 40 years later, but still relevant. Mike Flannigan can do no wrong! He is the next horror genius!
