Nothing like the original but it was still an okay movie! Not a lot of horror if you ask me! But I really wished they would of shown all the ghosts haunting them at the hotel again which wasn’t the case!

Doctor Sleep is an incredible piece of filmmaking by a master at the top of his game. Mike Flanagan's direction and screenplay are flawless.

This movie is as good as the original! It's different in terms of tone compared to the first movie. It's suspenseful, fun, and captivating!

Flanagan has done a good job adapting from a Stephen King book and giving lovers of Kubrick's adaptation of The Shining a cinematic sequel.

The 4k for this is super crisp. It looks really nice. Wish the director's cut was in 4k. The director's cut is only on the blu-ray

This is a good adaptation of Doctor Sleep, suspenseful and well done. Not all adaptations of King's books have been worthy of the author. This movie keeps your attention and the suspense up throughout.

as a fan of the shinning, this film is somewhat lacking the artistic edge Kubrick introduced to the story, but overall it was enjoyable to watch a new take on the classic story.

Wow I was really impressed with how great this movie was. This might be one of the greatest sequels of all time. Absolutely phenomenal.

This movie sequel s not as great and scary as the original movie directed by Stanley Kubrick and starred by Jack Nicholson and Shirley Duvall. But still it is a great delight to watch it.

We didn't watch the theatrical version of this movie, just the Director's Cut. I can't imagine cutting anything out of this movie and still have the impact that it did. We were thoroughly entertained.
