    The sequel to the Shining, it's hard to put into words the expectations I had for this movie. I read the book and was so excited to see this movie, but was disappointed with how it strayed from the book. I know that happens, but with how this book was written I was disappointed. I loved the footage from the Shining that was used to tie everything together. And I feel like the cast was perfect, Ewan McGregor makes for a wonderful adult Danny.

    As a sequel to the shining it works. It encapsulates the movies and the books okay enough. Entertaining watch- the directors cut was appreciated.

    I enjoyed this sequel. You can never replace Jack Nicholson but Rebecca Ferguson does a pretty good job as the bad guy, Rose the Hat.

    Who knew there would be a sequel to The Shining? Of course nothing will match the original, but this movie still provides entertainment value.
