Was so happy to receive a Best Buy e-mail indicating a 2 for $30 sale on 4K movies. Snatched up Doctor Sleep (can’t wait To watch directors cut) and IT 2. With Castle Rock S2 already on my shelf I will have an SK fest this weekend! BTW: Online order & pickup was a breeze

what a fun film and thrill ride. If you're a fan of the kubrick movie or the king novel, this sequel is faithful to both. you definitely need to watch the 3 hour cut for the "full experience". and Rebecca Ferguson is very hauntingly enchanting. I went in with zero expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. The acting was top notch and Rebecca Ferguson was a great female antagonist. You won’t go wrong with this movie, but it is 3 hrs long, so make sure you carve out enough time to watch it.

I had just wanted The Shining so I figured it'd be good to watch the sequel and I thought it was great where they could come out with another in 20 or 30 years but overall it was and is worth watching.

I never seen the shining and I no this was a sequel to that so it made me go back and watch the shining and boy was I missing out. But this is better in my opinion and worthy of the original I no I’m kinda alone in that but it is what it is

This directors cut of Stephen kings Dr. sleep is really incredible 30 minutes of extra film that really makes sense when the story comes together cinematography is wonderful it’s for mature audiences I would not recommend this for children.A must see in the comfort of your home.

I really like the SteelBook Cover that shows Adult Danny and kid Danny. The movie is really good. I really like the villians in this movie and the story is to me better or is as good as the orginal movie. Pick up this movie and SteelBook From Best Buy before they sell out.

This movie is a great example of how 4K and HDR elevate the movie-watching experience. The picture is crisp and night scenes look fantastic on my Sony X900H. A great follow up to The Shining, with a stellar performance by Rebecca Ferguson as Rose the Hat.

The Doctor Sleep film is a terrific adaptation that blended the events of Stanley Kubrick's film version of The Shining with the Doctor Sleep novel. Even Stephen King himself remarked that this movie fixed everything he didn't like about Kubrick's version of The Shining novel.

Just got done reading the book and watched The Shining a week ago. Now I got done reading the book and just watched Doctor Sleep the exact day I bought the movie. It did had something different but it was still good.

When I first heard about them making a sequel to The Shining, I was like how are they even going to work it. Then I watched the movie and OMG there was such a great story and character build up throughout the movie. Absolutely love Ewan McGregor in anything he does.

Gorgeous in 4K! The directors cut is only in 1080, which is unfortunately the norm with ultra high def discs. But the theatrical cut (although inferior) is t inferior enough to not watch it in 4K! I love ordering from BB- it's usually always delivered in a few days.

I purchase this before even seeing the movie. Family basically demanded it with no regrets. Aside from this being a good movie this was on sale and available for pick up. I work hard for my entertainment and gladly make all of my movie purchases from Best Buy.

The film is a faithful adaptation of the book, with its own twists and takes on some of the characters. The villains have heart and soul, with characters from the original 'Shining" story popping up throughout the movie. Don't "overlook" this film.

Very sleek looking blu ray, steel-book... the movie was a solid sequel that delivered ...unlike other movies that say they are better than the original it may not match the Kubrick classic but it comes darn close! Like to see a third just to make it a perfect trilogy!!

This is by far one of the best of stephen king's films some more it's the sequel from the shining, if you haven't watch the first one before be sure to watch it first then this so that you will understand the sequel more since is related a lot from the first one.

Doctor Sleep is an incredible follow up to an absolute classic horror film. The recreated sets and flashback scenes are top notch and the cast delivers great performances. Its a real shame it tanked at the box office but hopefully it can find new life on home media.

Mike Flanagan has set the bar for how to properly translate Stephen King to the big screen. Every King entry that Flanagan has done has been respectful just as much to the audience as it has been to the source material, because he is just as much a fan as we are.

I’m a huge fan of The Shining, and so I was apprehensive to this film. However, I know Ewan McGregor and he’s such a nice guy. So I figured “Why not!” I wasn’t let down at all. So happy he did it, and so happy this film was this good!

I was a little bored in the beginning of this movie but it was more story mode than anything. Get through it! Watch it! You won’t be disappointed!!! The ending is amazing! Bringing it all back to the overlook hotel is just... words can’t describe! Buy this movie!
