Doctor Sleep is a great sequel to The Shining. It's a very personal story about Danny Torrance, which I was a big fan of. Ewan Mcgregor was excellent. The story is good and the callbacks were done very well. I highly recommend this movie.

If you a expect the shining then don't. This is a very different piece of the puzzle that really explores the lore and mythology of the shine. Ewan is amazing as always.

Read the book and now purchased the movie. Excellent movie. I would recommend to anyone who loves Stephen king. Watch The Shining first for context.

Spin off of the classic movie the Shining! Love the shining so I had to go see this in the theater! There were some flash backs of the original! Had to add it to my DVD collection!

Very slow and tense with the sound of the slow heart beat going. They kept the same look and feel of the shining. I did not see much difference with the 3 hour director’s cut which is included, so I will have to watch it again. Watch it during the daytime.

It was nice to see what happened to Danny Torrence after the Overlook hotel experience. This sequel was intense, definitely one of Steven Kings best stories.

Hands down the biggest and best surprise on the big screen in 2019. With stunning visuals this sequel to The Shining will have you gripping your seat and hanging onto every scene!

Great watch. Found and picked this up for $5 after being talked into checking out. It turned out to be a good movie and a fun sequel to a classic. Well made.

Great follow up to The Shining. Its definitely a movie you can watch multiple times and still enjoy it. If you are a fan of The Shining you'll love Dr Sleep.

I had high hopes for this movie and it sure delivered. The Shining is a horror classic and no way was this movie going to be better, but it ended up being a worthy follow up. Mike Flanagan has proven himself yet again as a modern day horror movie master.

This followup to the Shining was a great movie on it's own,but it still has a good connection to the Shining that gives it more depth.

This is a very interesting follow up to the Shinning. If you are a Stephen King fan this is the movie for you. Also special features must be viewed to explain certain issues

Dr sleep really delivers well from book to movie I really enjoyed the flashback scenes and the concept of the true knot the villain in the movie a must buy for any shining fan.

This movie is the sequel to The Shining and follows the book pretty closely. It shows you how he had trouble dealing with what he experienced and leads you into a new chapter.

Great sequel to “The Shining.” I love how the story developed and grew from the original. Had lots of suspense and action as well. Unexpectedly good!

If you were a fan of the film or of Mike Flannigan's work in general, this is a must own. Includes the beautifully crafted director's cut on the Blu-Ray disc and 4K on Digital.

A very intense on the edge of your seat thriller loved the scary vibe those people were crazy lol very happy with the purchase it's my fiances favorite movie.

Unfortunately I haven't read the book. So I really can't compare it to it. But this movie was great and Ewan McGregor doesn't disappoint.

I could not imagine another Shining movie being good at all. This was such an unexpected storyline, however. It really stands on it's own as a pretty good movie, but gets even better with the tie-ins to the original.
