    Each of the stories offered for this season has been done before over the last 12 seasons of the Doctor. The return of Captain Jack was a waste of time and an obvious reach to capture the lost magic of the old doctor's. They are trying to reboot the past history of the Doctor, but the writers and producers do not have the talent to achieve such a lofty goal. I fear that unless someone steps in soon the Doctor series may be gone by next year.

    I've been a fan of the show since the early eighties - it has never been this bad. The writing and direction is terrible, the characters have no personality or defining traits and the new Doctor is an awful actress. Then you throw in the whole "Lets re-write the show with this timeless child" nonsense, and you've got a disaster. Skip it.

    Chibnall has managed to destroy the 50 yr + history. Jodie's Yorkshire accent is annoying and at times hard to understand, her facial expressions are obnoxious. ive been a fan for 50 yrs and bought the dvd to keep my collection complete and tried to re-watch and give it a 2nd chance, its still not good
