Must have, beautiful case for the phone....it still shows for calls and notifications

I wanted something lite for my phone and remembered that there was a dot case! So I went it found it at my local best buy!

Glad I was able to find case online, but it's being discontinued for the M8. Order it while you can! Great price.

Got this for my sons bday for his htc. He loves the case and I'm thinking of getting one too. Really light and awesome.

The only complaint I have is it does not fit well in the car holder for directions. Have to take the case off to use it for directions.

I love my new phone. The reception is really good. I wish it was a less tall. But great phone. Great pictures.

It's a neat case. Hoping for more feature later on. Con, it's a little irritating that the case doesn't stay folded over when open.

This case looks god on the phone, even though it covers the metal back, and I like the features through the case, time, weather, answer the phone, etc. However, when the case is opened it does not fold back flat on the back of the phone which is very inconvenient when using the phone with the case open. I am trying to stretch the plastic hinge on mine to get it to open a full 180 degrees. Second trouble is that if open all the way the camera on the back, the main camera, is blocked. Interestingly, the front facing camera has an opening, but it is not really likely that I will need that feature much. I think HTC could make a hole in the case of the main camera and design the graphic interface to simulate the holes effect on the front when the case is closed. This feels to me like a great concept, mostly well-executed, but one which the designers did not actually use in real-word situations.

Assuming it holds up for a long time, the case is really great. It's not much bigger than the phone without a case, which I really like. The sides of the phone are partially exposed, so you are actually using the phone's buttons rather than the case's buttons and get the advantage of touching the actual phone. If you really need a lot of protection, it's not good for that, since it's fairly slim. I wanted a small and light case that offered moderate protection, so it's perfect for me. The dot view is neat too. You can check the time and weather, control audio playback and hang up the phone etc, without opening the cover. You can even set it up for gesture initiated calling etc., but I think that will cause more pocket dialing, so I have that disabled. I did enable the double tap gesture so you can view the dot view display by double tapping on the cover. Also, you can talk on the phone with the cover closed, which keeps the glass from getting as dirty, and works perfectly. Overall, the glass is not getting as dirty now as with a standard case. When the cover is closed, the display shuts off right away, which is really nice to save battery. The flip cover does cause you to have to use two hands more often for reading etc., but not a big issue to me and is well worth it for the extra glass protection. The part of the case that holds the phone doesn't protrude beyond the face, so it's really easy to wipe the glass on your shirt or whatever to keep it clean. This is nice too. The front cover can be folded around back for one handed reading, but not completely flat because the back is rounded. This has not been a problem for me. It's worth it for the other positives with this case. I've had several different cases in the past (with this phone and others), but this is my favorite so far.

Doesn't hold up very well. Face fell off two times already, so it had to be replaced both times. When it's not broken, it's nice.

This has protected my phone from many drops but this last time I cracked the corner and it wont stay clipped on. I'm running out tomorrow to buy another! I love not having to open my phone to snooze the alarm, see who's calling, check the time, and the graphics on holidays are a nice treat! It also prevents my phone from sliding when placed down and protects the glass. I'm lost without it! I would have given 5 stars but the case is cheaply made. I wouldn't mind it being a bit thicker to last longer. Corners break because the plastic is hard and thin, and the crease where it folds back has ripped and the plastic weld came apart. But Best Buy replaced it the first time under warranty. This said, I still can't live without it!

This is a case very attractive and very easy to use. I recommend it for your HTC One M8.

This product is absolute garbage, the "cover" doesn't even sit flush with the screen of my M8. The cover doesn't fully bend all the way around the phone when you are using the phone so it becomes intrusive and makes it difficult to actually use the phone itself. Overall I would rate this 0/5 stars but that's not an option. The dot screen isn't visible when there is any sunlight whatsoever and is only interesting for the first five minutes. Clearly HTC has paid people to endorse this product because no one in their right mind would actually give this product a good review. Do not buy this case.

I bought this case for my HTC phone and I like it because it shows me the time and weather on the front without unlocking my screen.
