I love this series. Too bad there's only one left.

One of the DVD's in the set had an issue and kept restarting.

The only think I enjoy is the clothing and jewelry the women wore. I love history so I was intrigued by the specifics of that time. As to the rest it was okay. I didn't like the introduction of the "double life" servants had with their masters.

I watched two episodes and they seemed to drag. Slow plots, nothing too interesting. I'll continue to try a few more episodes but having my doubts.

I saw the preview for this series online and was instantly interested in it. I watched the U.S. premiere on PBS and was amazed! I loved storyline and the actors are wonderful. Dame Maggie Smith is always a joy to watch! I was also thrilled to find out that the show was picked up for a second season! If you love dramas and/or period pieces then I highly recommend this to you.

I love this show. There is so much life going on in each season. I don't care much for the snobby Mary, she's just mean and arrogant to everyone especially her sister. It's very well written and the period of this time in history is very well laid out and thought out. The fact that it is from the BBC channel should tell you it's good TV!!!

show starts out a little slow but before the end of episode 1 you will probably like the show. If you are going to or not.

It was wonderful - beautiful costuming and period decor. The acting was supurb.

We love the series and enjoy the 1st season DVD. First time to see the series.
