A GREAT REMAKE AND A MUST HAVE FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

This release looks fine, but it is no significant step up from previous releases. If you want this movie, you can get it for next to nothing on bluray. Just get whatever's cheaper and available to you.

I grew up watching the original animated version and love it still. The live action movie is fun and expands the story, but the antics do get a bit tiresome after a while. The kids enjoy this as a holiday treat though.

It is a classic movie. I picked it up because it was on sale and will likely be something good for background noise during the holidays.

This live action take of the Xmas classic cartoon is ok. Jim Carrey pulls off a convincing Grinch. But the whole Who extended story, along with the Grinch's history is so very unnecessary (a time filler, no doubt).

Ron Howard's Grinch is loud and deviates from the spirit from the original book, but Jim Carrey's lively performance and whimsical production design makes it a minor Christmas holiday classic.

I forgot how truly dark this film is until you watch it on UHD and not even the HDR can brighten this film up.

I owned this video in the vhs format. I always watch it at Christmas time. It's a fun version of the grinch story. I love the way Jim Carrey does all of the different voices!
