The Grinch is an all time favorite, for sure. Bluray makes it better.

Funny movie and because of his character Jim Carey is tolerable.

You can't go wrong needing a laugh and watching Jim Carey.

This take on the perennial Dr. Seuss Christmas favorite is a bit over the top and Jim Carrey’s antics are decidedly a matter of taste. However, with the clever production design and pleasing supporting players, repeated viewings have made it grow on me, and the occasional straining for laughs and lapses that skew it away from entirely kid friendly ultimately don’t spoil the cheerful atmosphere and holiday spirit. The DVD version suffered from lack of detail and seemed overlaid with a hazy appearance, and thankfully this 4K edition goes a long way toward making it look clear enough to see the details of the intricate sets and cartoonish splashes of color. It’s a notable improvement technically and for fans of the film, the picture and sound are hard to fault.

Great movie all around and good for anytime of the year!!! All the scenes in it wether digital or regular old fashioned props look spectacular in 4K. And in my humble opinion one of Jim Carrey’s best performances! Wether you are looking for a great Christmas movie or just a great movie for kids, this is one of them!! Highly recommended to all ages !!! A true classic

I LOVE christmas so I have recently started to buy my favorite christmas movies on blu ray and this was definitely one of the first ones I bought. This was funny when I saw it when it first came out and even more hilarious now as I am older and can enjoy some of the jokes more. Jim Carrey does a truly outstanding job of being the Grinch, which is not an easy task at all, but perfect for him! One of the best modern Christmas movies, if not the best. If you like comedy and christmas at all, or just comedy, you will love this movie!

I, like many, grew up on the Grinch; Christmas, and acceptance are big in the book and even animated movie, but what especially resonates with all of them, and even Ron Howard's rendition is that they delve into the Capitalistic World. I've come across a lot of people who really love this movie, or really hate it, but I still think it is a great film that entertains, and even teaches, children and adults, that gifts aren't everything. Family and friends make the holiday!

It’s the grinch. On Blu-ray. You know what you’re getting, and it’s good. Fun fact: Jim Carrey’s eyes in this movie were one of the first instances of eye changing contacts. The technology wasn’t quite there, and they had to bring in a CIA torture trainer to teach him how to deal with the pain and discomfort.

A wonderful and comical outragous movie starring Jim Carrey in a performance that truly surprises that is suitable for all. This is a movie that I and literly millions have seen and look forward to seeing over and over again this holiday season. A true and at times heart-warming movie experience.

Looking to snag the 20th-anniversary Steelbook. But for the holiday season, this will do! Phenomenal picture, especially with my 4k tv, Xbox one, and AudioQuest HDMI, the picture is beyond great. This grinch movie is my favorite Christmas movie so that just adds to it!

Much more vibrant transfer, still some flaws that plagued the old release, but overall it's a new transfer and the best way to watch the film at home. As for the film itself, at this point you either consider it a holiday classic that must be watched every year around the holidays or its the horrible adaptation that plagues your mind because it still exists. If you are like me falling into the former category then pick this edition up as soon as possible.

I had this movie on a Standard Definition DVD since it first came out 15 years ago. Never watched it although my kids and grandkids did every year, grandkids 3 or 4 times during the year. I never liked the video quality which is why I didn’t watch it. When I saw a 4K version for $10 I thought why not get it and see if the video is better. It is a 100% improvement and I really enjoyed the movie.

Jim Carrey gives an amazing performance in this movie but that doesn't make the movie amazing. The movie is weighted down with less than stellar writing. Besides Jim Carrey's performance this movie is just OK.

I grew up watching the animated "How the Grinch stole Christmas," but never saw this one when it came out, mainly because my family just loved the animated one too much that we didn't want to accept that a live action film could be better. But this one is. It gives a lot more backstory to the characters, and fleshes out WHY the Grinch actually acts the way he does. Great film, and totally worth buying.

The Grinch with Jim Carrey is a classic Christmas movie...my kids are grown up now; however, it is still one of their favorites! Now we will get to enjoy it with our newly born grandson! The movie will no longer be shown on Netflix after this year; therefore, it will be nice to have it in our library!

It’s not a knock off your socks kind of Christmas movie but it’s a really cute and not too boring for older kids. Definitely a movie you can watch multiple times and it doesn’t get annoying. Good buy.
