I had seen Dr. Strangelove before. It is now over 50 years old, but it is completely up to date. Stanley Kubrik hit the target depicting each character, and the black & white cinematography is absolutely spectacular. Watching those B-52 banking and turning flying low is a sight to behold, and the subject (nuclear war by accident) is blood curling.

This is a classic from Stanley Kubrick and Peters Sellers' multiple-role performance is one of the best you'll ever see. George C. Scott is a stand-out as well. So many classic scenes and lines that are memorable, classic, and hilariously quotable. The art on this steelbook release is nice, and the special features are worth taking in as well. Great release!

Easily one of the best movies, best war movies, best black comedies of all time. Kubrick hit it out of the park and couldn't have done it without Peter Sellers' help. Everything about this is good. Sit back and enjoy.

This film is also a classic and cleverly displays the insanity of nuclear war and the controversy can and has existed within governments. Peter Sellers is an extraordinary actor, as is George C. Scott.

This movie is a classic by far my favorite black and white movie. Dr. Strange Love is a wonderful black comedy that gives a interesting perspective on cold war fear in the 1950's. If you don't own this movie it is a great edition to your collection especially with the beautiful metal case.

Im glad i got this movie on blu-ray for a nice low price, the other edition went out of print and was hard to find. The artwork on this steel book is not bad but interesting and I believe the transfer on blu-ray is the same as the previous release which is very good and a lot better than dvd. overall great buy.

Peter Sellers is a genius. You have to understand that post-bomb/nuclear arms race with Russia to really get the joke - but this movie is brilliant. It takes everything that is Post WWII and the nuclear paranoia of the early cold war and just makes you laugh at it all. The steelbook is a treat.

Kubrick's masterpiece on 4k! Just a tad better than the criterion collection release. The HDR makes a difference. There's also bonus content not on criterion collection release.

Terrific presentation of a classic film (perhaps the blackest, black comedy ever made), loaded with extras. Note: as far as I can tell, this is out of print everywhere else - but it appears to be the same disc as in the mainstream version, so buy it now, while you still can!

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie as I did when I was a young man growing up. I would highly recommend this movie for all families of my generation of the 1950's & 1960's. This is one of Peter Sellers & George C. Scott's classic movies of 1964 directed by Stanley Kubrick.

This movie is exceptional and of course I am going to get the steelbook for it. I have gotten others from this line of what I think is called Pop Art steelbooks. When this went on sale for ten dollars I jumped and got it in store. Recommend it to any fan of the movie.

This is one of my favorite comedies and it’s one of the only ones you’ll see about nuclear war. Even after the Cold War has ended, I think it’s hilarious.

Great classic movie by Stanley Kubrick with George C. Scott and Peter Sellers. The 4k look with a black and white film is nice and detailed, love the look of this film.

No matter how many times you've seen this film you will find this blu ray version to reveal things you've never seen before. The acting is the best and the sets in combination with the clarity of this transfer make this a great viewing experience for any Dr. Strangelove fan.

Who else other than Stanley Kubrick could take a serious subject like the cold war and tell the story like a comedy? He proves his genius in this film more like in any other film of his. (You'll need to explain a lot of the references to young adults.)

Dr. Strangelove is one of the finest films ever made in any genre, but is a defining comedy title. It's a brilliant satire that features legendary performances from George C. Scott, Spencer Tracy and Peter Sellers. Kubrick never made a better film than this. 10/10

As an international relations student, I find this to be one of the most entertaining depictions of the Cold War that is perfect to show to beginning students. It not only captures the feelings of the era but it also injects a healthy dose of humor.
