I was not familiar with Luke Evans' acting work until I saw this movie and I was very pleasantly surprised at how great he is. He truly makes this movie into a pretty great one. Highly recommended whether you're a vampire movie fan or not.

This movie is fun to watch if you're not critiquing it. Definitely worth the movie ticket and worth it enough, to me, to own it. I personally enjoy watching Luke Evans acting and the story for Dracula was an interesting take but I feel like the antagonist and most side characters were subpar in their roles given to them. The last section of the movie was a bit anticlimactic for me, but the after credits somewhat redeemed it (that's a hint to watch the scene following credits). Overall, I give it a 3 star because it's not a fantastic movie by critic standards, but it's enjoyable enough for me to buy and watch again.

I had liked the war scene more than the other parts but i had not liked the final fight scene. but i had not liked the person who played the main antagonist. i also did not like the last few moments of the movie.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that this story differs in that Dracula is seen from a heroic perspective, while glossing over all the nasty bits. I enjoyed it, but probably not what fans of traditional myth/legend would be interested in.

I liked this movie. I really like Luke Evans. A number of critics gave poor reviews but I like the love story of family and I thought the action was good. The story was believable to me but I like sci-fi and horror.

I was expecting more of a horror then dracula family man it also wasn't a monster movie either it was cool looking movie i like it because vampire movies are cool but more action would have been nice but it wasn't boring

These are my husband's exact words. He really liked it and considering that he is an avid horror and sci-fi fan, that says a lot. Very impressed with the characters and the special effects. The story line was quite good.

This is by far one of the best story versions of the Dracula legacy. Outstanding cast, and phenomenal special effects. A must have for any vampire enthusiast collection.

I am a fan of this version. I watched it 3 times already. I really liked his motivation for being cursed. Not what I expected from a vampire movie.Maybe that's what I really liked about it. Action from start to finish, another bonus for me.

This movie met my expectations for an 'origin' story behind Bram Stokers Dracula. Although it will not win any awards for acting, the characters were believable and the story interesting. Well worth the purchase price.

if you are a fan of dracula ..see this movie. it brings a human side to the "monster" we all know. he was evil but what he did.. it was for his family his people.. and got pushed too far and lost himself in the power

Not your average vampire movie. Best looking Dracula ever! Very action packed. Only disappointment is that it doesn't look like there will be a sequel even though it ends in a way that there could have easily been another one.

This is a different take on the whole vampire Dracula genre. It will be interesting if there is a 2nd or 3rd movie that maybe gets darker and bloodier. I enjoyed the acting and the action. This is more action than a horror movie btw.

It's not a scary or gruesome spooky movie but a movie with great effects, story and even romance for the girlfriends/wives. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and I am glad that I bought it at a great price to add to my collection.

im not a big fan of monster movies and whatnot. but yet i was interested in this movie. luke evans does a great job as dracula. the movie moves along at a good pace and has plenty of great shots and action.

This movie really reminded me of the newest Castlevania games. I was hoping to see a Castlevania like movie sometime and this really seemed like it took that type of story to me. I was not disappointed at all. Loved this movie!!!

It's a lot better than I thought it would be, but I thought it would be a bit more gory, being that it's a vampire movie and that it's about Vlad Tepes. But the acting was good and the story line was decent.

I can’t stop watching this movie. Some people think it might be a scary movie but it’s not. It’s more of a love story than scary. A man and his love for his people and family. Just watch it!!

Solid movie. Acting was good, action was pretty solid. Im forgetting the main actors name but he played a good role in the Hobbit as Bard. Thats what made me get this film. Doesnt disappoint!

Lots of good action and adventure. Good story lines and plot. Not recommended for kids. Not overly bloody or gory. Good graphics. I would watch again and again.
