I have been a movie fan for over 50 years and this is as for as I am concerned, is one of the better Dracula movies I have seen. I like the whole story line and the way it goes back and details how this Dracula replaced the old one in the cave when he needed that type of power to accomplish his goal and what it cost him to have that power

this puts the story of Vlad the Impaler in a whole new light even raising the question of what would you go in order to protect your family & loved ones. it's a far cry from the usual interpretation of Dracula & what we've come to know of the prince of Darkness. did i mention that the effects in it are quite good? no? well they are!

I was disappointed when I read some unflattering reviews about this much anticipated movie, but I decided to watch it anyway. I’m so glad I trusted my gut instinct and didn’t listen to the critics. Maybe I was just in the right mood to watch it, maybe my expectations were lowered, or maybe it’s just a good, solid movie – but I LOVED it!

I've watched this movie with friends and then again with family. I enjoyed it more the second time around as I'm the kind of person that has to be in the mood to watch the movie chosen, or my attention digresses. It began slowly and began to show potential. It would be more enjoyed by vampire buffs I would think. Overall a good movie

Another story about Dracula.... Not worth it, poor acting.

This is an excellent movie. What my husband and I like most about it is there isn't all the foul language or scenes that were really inappropriate in it like in most movies now days. Without those, this movie wasn't lacking in any area.

This movie was great because it had a lot of things that I really enjoy I like the nostalgic part about having all of my old movies that I remember brought back to life

If you like Luke Evans and the Dracula legends you will enjoy this movie. An edgy twist on a classic myth that tends to make from history than legend (though clearly still a work of fiction). It's an interesting take not only on the legend but the style of storytelling. The special effects are also exceptionally well done and hold up on my 42" hd 3D tv.

I loved this new take on Dracula. I was hoping for a sequel but I doubt we'll ver get that. The effects are really good in this one. Action is very good as well. Glad it came with the digital version so I can download it on my iPhone.

The actual product I am reviewing is the Blu Ray Digital copy of "Dracula Untold". For that part it is high quality and I knew what I was purchasing. Subjective review is the movie itself. It is one of my new favorites. A story of Dracula we have never heard before. Hence; Untold. If you like all things "Dracula" I think you will enjoy this movie.

This movie, even though it had some similar parts to it from the movie Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula, was played very well, I loved the ending, we means there may be a sequel. A lot of CGI, but that is a common occurrence with Hollywood these days, but it keeps use consumers watching them. I would gladly watch it over and over.

I know that some people and critics ripped this movie but honestly its a different take on an old classic monster dracula and his motivation to become the prince of darkness. I would rematch this again because the performance and the storyline. Hoping they make a sequel, would be good to see how they approach it in the modern world.

I liked the movie because it showed the test of "will" and determination Vlad put forth before his complete transformation into Dracula. As much as used the power of the night demon to protect his kingdom from being overthrown, he held his wits through the end until the site of revenge lurked into his soon to be cold heart. (Yeah I liked it!)

When I 1st saw the trailer for this movie I was pretty excited but when it finally hit theaters the review it got were not so good. I decided to wait till it came out on Blu-Ray and, now after watching it wished I had seen it in the theaters. Picked this up on sale for $8.00 and thought it was worth it.

Dracula, a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler, is the movie's hero. He's like a superhero, with an origin story and superpowers, and he's basically trying to protect his family -- but he does so with vengeance and hatred and by killing thousands without remorse or consequences. He makes a Faustian deal for more power.

This was a great start to what I hope is a couple part series. The film goes back to the initial story of Vlad The Impaler (Vlad Tepes). It shows how he became the legend of Dracula. It is an action packed thriller which really gets the imagination going! Watch through to the very end, you will see why I think there will be another!

This is an imaginative reimagining of the Dracula legend. This take is personal, romantic, heroic. It takes the legend to a field briefly touched upon by the Coppola Dracula. Luke Evans does a great job, an actor to watch. I would recommend this. Fun entertaining great Popcorn flix.

I am 72 years old and the first time I saw Dracula was in my home as a young kid and I flipped out and it was in black and white. I will never forget how scared I was. This newest one has a great story, color, excellent special effects that made you feel his pane. I loved the ending. Very entertaining!

This movie was more drama and a good plot than I was expecting . The back story on Dracula was more about a man trying to protect his family and his people than the monster he eventually became . Special effects were very good and the story was different ; a solid action movie with a possible secquel.

An action packed, and entertaining Dracula film with a few changes here and there from the original story. The way it ends your expecting a sequel to come out, but haven't seen any news on that as of yet. But worth watching.
