It's not horrible, but if I had known what it was about, I probably would have passed on buying. It tells the story of Vlad before he became Dracula. It was kind of boring the way it was told.

I am going to consider this the free DVD I got on the buy 2 and get one free. The 4K quality was extremely poor. Good thing there was a blue ray copy.

This movie is one of the best movies ever made. I love the story of the movie. We get to go in depth of what Dracula was before becoming the famous Prince of Darkness. It's very rewatchable. You must watch this movie. The effects are spectacular. The cast of the movie is really good.

The special effects looked cool in the trailers but the overall story and casting for the movie didn't quite convince me to see it in theaters. Once I had the chance to view it on DVD, I was surprised to find out it was better than expected and wouldn't have been such a bad idea to have seen it in theaters. Luke Evans does a great job in his portrayal of Dracula. The story draws inspiration from Romanian historical accounts and incorporates Shakespearean theatrics, strengthening the movie's quality of entertainment.

This was a very interesting take on Dracula. I liked that it mixed in historical events with the mythology. I also really liked and believed the reasoning for why he accepted the risks to receive the benefits of being a vampire. I really enjoyed this movie. There were only two scenes that I thought we were a little weird where it seemed the director was trying to be creative and it just ended up being weird. Overall a very good movie.

I went to watch this in theaters, and I thought that it was a pretty decent rendition of Dracula, in which it introduced different pieces of the multitude of versions that have been used in literature and film, and combined them to create this version of the creation story of Dracula. Loved the cinematics, and enjoyed seeing the actor in a lead role.

I just hope they come out with a 2nd one! The movie had wonderful acting and everything great couldn't wait for the Blue Ray to come out!

This movie is a great first for the dracula stories. I love how they brought history into the movie and made it look like there could be a sequel at the end. It is a very action packed and not totally for the faint of heart.

even though it is by no mean a master piece, it does an interesting job at combining both the historical and fictional facts about the iconic character. it has little to do with the bram stoker novel.

It was Great! Lots of action and good detailed history of Dracula. They did an Excellent job. The movie played out for me Better than expected. You Wont believe some of the stuff that happens some of its Shocking!

This is by far the best Dracula movie I have seen. Nothing beats Strokers version, but this had me glued the whole time. Can't wait to see if they relaunch it and continue the story with this cast.

This is a MUST SEE Dracula movie to see if you love blood sucking but with good Drama and stories. Real great CG and loved the performance of all actors. This movie is on my top 3 list of my favorites.

This movie goes to the time before Dracula was a vampire. It is very cool to see him start out as a human and transition into a vampire.

Great origin story movie. What's cool is that this guy is a real historical figure that stoop up to a tyrannical dynasty.
