You don't really need to watch the previous movies or the series. This movie stand on its own.

It’s a new take on the story of Broly and shows that the DragonBall franchise is continuing to grow.

Awesome extension of the DB Super arch. This time they actually made Broly an interesting character.

Bought it for a buddy, but I watched it with him with limited familiarity and had a good time!

None of the movies will ever capture the feel of the DBZ ones, but this comes really close.

This film was amazing to watch in the theater. The animation is the best I’ve seen for Dragon Ball since World’s Strongest. The fights are so well done and engaging to watch. The best part is that Akira Toriyama actually made a much better character with this Broly than the previous (now non-canon) version. I’d love for the rest of the future Dragon Ball Super series to have this animation style going forward!

Very good movie. I loved the action, but didn't like how Broly was unstoppable
