Ok this is the version that was uncut and played on toonami back in the day. This series will have the bruce faulconer track, for those of you who really want his themes, they start at this season I believe. Anyways this has been cropped so there are ppl that cry that there is some stuff cut off but its very minor and I don't believe it takes away from the experience. This was awesome watching a little more crisp then when it was on Cartoon Network and really brought out the inner child in me. Love the extras on these blu rays, they are def something worth watching. Of course if you love DBZ get this, its amazing the resurgence this show has had in the last few months. This is the start to my new blu ray DBZ collection. A must have for fans.

This season has several of the most memorable sequences of the entire series, but the battle with Frieza is drawn out far too long. I wish the Kai edit of the show kept the original voice actors and US music; then I would definitely have picked up that instead of this bloated season. The actual quality of the discs are great though.
