The final season of Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray is an action packed, albeit overstuffed, conclusion to the epic story of Z. Continuing the battle against the evil Buu, new transformations and fusions end up padding the time before we get the true final battle for the fate of the universe. While the cringe and pacing can turn others off, those who grew up with Z can appreciate all the cheesy fun.

This Bluray contains some of the final episodes of the classic anime, Dragonball Z. It is a decent upscale to HD resolution. It also has dual Japanese and English audio tracks for those that prefer options. Overall, a good way to watch DBZ.

This season set comes with 38 episodes and it was only $19. This is the last season of DBZ. If you're a DBZ fan then I recommended buying this set.

An end to such a great series, not as good as some of the earlier seasons, but really good nonetheless!

Classic anime of all time and the best series of dragon ball

This is a good product and has exceeded my expectations. Not only can you watch the TV shows in the Japanese version (English voices) but you have the upgraded cartoon network version as well. The disks contain unedited scenes not shown on television plus you have the option of watching it in marathon mode without having to watch the opener a multitude of times. The marathon setting allows you to smoothly flow from episode to episode like it was a 3:30 movie. Additionally there is the option of subtitles.

Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray! Unfortunately, like many of Funimations other releases of Dragon Ball Z this release is also cropped. However, this time it was cropped using pan-and-scan cropping, which is a better method. The remastering process is somewhat mixed. It gives the video quality a very modified look but it still looks pretty good. Overall, this is a pretty good release and probably the best release the American version of the show will ever get.

While it may be the Orange Bricks in HD, it's a ton of episodes in HD for a reasonable price. As long as you don't compare it to the originals side-by-side, it's a decent way to own this part of the series.

I always have a good time watching dragon ball z, my only complaint is that the blu ray sometimes doesn't look like it's HD, but it is alot sharper than the dvds I have

Dragon Ball Z never looked better. The colors are bright and the picture is sharp. The revised aspect ratio doesn't bother me and I never even notice it.

This season really made me remember my childhood. Just wished they kept some of the original music I grew up with. Still great season.

I love how these sets have more detail and explain so much more than the TV version of DBZ Kai. Can’t wait to watch all 9 seasons.

The final box set to the Z saga. Fusion of Goten and Trunks, Vegeta with Goku. Super Buu, Kid Buu, spirit bombs.

What a great seaaon of dragon ball z. So much action and suspe se. A must for any true fan

I really enjoyed this box set for bluray, the packaging and over quality of the set is worth the money

If you like dbz you'll like this blu Ray, clarity is great and much better than dvd.

Great for someone who is looking to watch DBZ for the first time.
