So another movie that has a steelbook and I love it. The 4K picture is not bad thou it does have some film grain but the Atmos mix is WOW! Awesome! And for the first time they wrapped the steelbook case really really well. Thank you BestBuy. This is very enjoyable movie. Price of the steelbook wasn't bad either.

It was a solid action movie that was enjoyable. Although I like the main actor in other roles, it seemed that he was doing a continuation of Sylvester Stallion Dredd. Not one of his better acting but for action/popcorn night, it was entertaining. For the price that I paid, it was a bargain and getting 3D, Blu-Ray and digital, so complaints on this movie.

I purchased this DVD because it was 3D and on sale dirt cheap. I saw this in regular version 2D when it first came out. This version in 3D is superior and the story line is much better than the original movie and the action scenes just never end. Although the movie is very reminiscent of "The Raid" It will blow you away with the sights and sounds. I did not give it 5 stars due to it being sequel and it is what it is but very good. I would buy it again

Dredd is of my favorite movies, and without a doubt my favorite steelbook ever. Awesome composition, especially on the back of the case. And the fact that it comes with 4K, Blu-ray, and 3D blu-ray versions is just incredible. And for such a low price too. Cannot recommend this collection enough.

While the version of Judge Dredd is nothing like its Stallone predecessor, it does hold more true to the comic material. It is dark, gritty, and violent. If you're looking for an action movie with superb cinematography and art direction, this will certainly fill that need. What makes this an exceptional buy is the 3d art direction. This is definitely a reference movie for showing off your 3d setup. The slo-mo scenes really come to life with the 3d experience.

This is one of the best steelbooks Best Buy has ever released. The artwork alone is worth the pick up, but the movie is one of the most underrated films of the last decade and this is the release it always deserved. The 4K transfer is beautiful and all the extras are here. Do yourself a favor and get this while you can.

I really enjoyed this movie in the theater and had been looking to add it to my library and the price I got, I couldn't pass it up. Once the action gets going very early in the movie, it does not let up! It's similar Mad Max Fury Road in that aspect. Karl Urban and the rest of the cast (including a very familiar Lannister from Game of Thrones) does a great job in this action romp. I highly recommend this movie if you're a fan of action movies at all.

I caught the end of this movie while flipping through channels and was reminded how good it was. Decided it would be a good addition to my collection so I can watch it whenever I want without commercials or edits for content. This is a very entertaining movie that basically covers one day for Judge Dredd. Performances are great with a ton of action and very interesting special effects. The slow-motion and particle effects are especially cool

Another great steelbook design from Best Buy. I already had the regular 4k version of Dredd and when I saw the steelbook version was coming out I had to get it. Luckily there was one left at my local Best Buy and I quickly grabbed it. A kind of hard core movie for those who like that sort of thing which I am.

This is a great movie that we will never get a sequel to. Karl Urban is the perfect Judge Dredd, so it's too bad we will only get to see him in this one iteration. Otherwise, the film is a blast - bleak, violent, and full of dark humor. Looks terrific in 4k and is now housed in one of my favorite steelbook designs.

I really like this movie. It took me by surprise last night. The low pricetag on the 3D version of Dredd made me buy this Blu-Ray. At home it became apparent why the price was so low. The 3D image in all its depth is alright, but the colors seem to be all washed out and distracting. Compared to a release like Pacific Rim 3D, Dredd 3D looks really poor. Otherwise this is a really enjoyable, ultra-violent movie that puts Stallone's version to absolute shame.

In the future crime has gotten out of control. The police are now judges. They catch you, prosecute you, and sentence you on the spot. If your sentence is death, they kill you on the spot. This is a remake of Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone. I like this version better. This Dredd, compared to the Stallone version, is someone you don't want to cross.

If you are into pure action movies without the sacrifice of a decent plot, this one is for you. Very very heavy on action and blood, but not at the expense of a nonsensical plot. It's a situational plot, meaning the entire movie is occuring over one big event/period. Karl Urban surprises delightly as his portrayal of Dredd, though a simple character in this film, interesting. Here's to support of Karl Urban in more front running roles.

I really enjoyed the film and the video is presentation is great even though it's not in Dolby Vision. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is spectacular! It is one of my favorite 4K discs that I own for the audio alone and it is absolutely reference quality. I use it as a demo more often than any other disc for the audio.

I watched this with my teen son, I forgot about the sex related stuff, but he was excited because this was comic book based, he lived it, the 4k video looks a little grainy, nit that great, the hdr does pop out, and the audio is great. If you don’t already own it on bluray buy it.

This movie left me with my jaw slack I couldn't believe it wasn't the biggest action film of 2012. Script, performances and direction are flawless. And the 3D was a total showstopper.. The Slo-Mo scenes are AMAZING in 3D. If you're trying to figure out why the heck you ever bothered buying a 3D TV this is the movie that will answer that question for you. Forget Avatar. Dredd is 3D at it's finest. And no giant smurfs!!!

There's not too many remakes I like especially when it comes to classics, even cheesy ones like Dredd! But it was a completely different storyline and was pretty entertaining. Check it out! And to get a 3D blu Ray With 2D, DVD and Digital HD Download for the UNBELIEVABLE Price I got this for!?...well....it was almost a sin not to buy it! Seriously! And I own well over 1500 movies (blu Ray and digital HD)

I recently purchased JUDGE DEDD on 3D Blu Ray & I DO NOT have any regrets at all!! The graphics are so clear there are so many action packed scenes in this movie... I'm going to recommend this to family & friends for sure... The only other thing that would've made this better is "UPGRADE & SAVE" so that I would've save an additional $5 on this purchase IF/WHEN BestBuy brings "UPGRADE & SAVE" back soon...

An amazing film, encased in one absolutely excellent steelbook case. If you haven't seen "Dredd", do yourself a favor and remedy that. It's quite possibly one of the most stylish, artistic action films ever put to screen, and deserves all the love.

I loved this movie. I've never read a single Judge Dredd comic in my life, but I like Karl Urban and action movies. The movies special effects are definitely the highlight. All the "slo-mo" in the movie is very impressive. Only downside to having that much slow motion in a movie is it literally slows the movie down a bit. But there are a bunch of great one-liners, good dialogue, and the story is solid. Worth the money.
