I was checking the Internet to see the top movies in 3D and Dredd was on that list actually was top 5 in some reviews. The 3D effects are very good crisp and clean. The price was the best you can get this movie for at less $9.00. A bang for your buck. I really recommend this movie...enjoy

I already own the 4k version of this movie. The packaging is beautiful. Bought this for my collection not even going to open it. Must have if your a true Dredd fan.

I never saw this in theaters. In fact, I vividly recall the lackluster movie trailers leading up to Dredd's release. They did nothing to compel me. Did little to separate them from the horrid 1995 Judge Dredd movie released 17 years earlier, and presented the movie with a poster that looked nearly identical to the 2003 Dare Devil flop. Which means that it did poorly at the theatrical box office Which is a real shame. Karl Urban would never have been my first or tenth choice for Judge Dredd, but amazingly the man nailed the role. Urban / Dredd moves through a screenplay by Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Ex Machina) as the embodiment of the legendary comic book Dredd of the futuristic dystopia, Mega-City One. At turns deathly serious, then darkly humorous, Urban's Dredd is full blown comic book hardcore grit, while never being self-mocking. Director Pete Travis, both visually and in inspiring his actors, expressed the best he has ever committed to cinema with this. More than just the special effects, Dredd moves and flows with geysers of Thrills and Suspense. Olivia Thirlby (Goliath - TV) as the psychic (Psy-Cop) newbie Judge Anderson, ably keeps pace with the nearly robotic Dredd. Lena Headey (300, Game of Thrones - TV), as the superbad cruella villain, Ma-Ma, outshines her malevolent TV character by several orders. Ma-Ma's practically a human ED 209, only without the staircase and elevator issues. Whip smart while never being too smart, Dredd embodies Britain's longest running comic book character with verve to spare. Small wonder that home video fans who gave this a chance, have grown into an audience big enough to lose its "Cult" status. SciFi fans are eating this up and the producers, as well as Karl Urban, are still wondering if they should give this another go.

Not only does the film embody the themes and style of the classic comics; it builds on the burtality in the form of ultraviolent gore. First saw the film when I was in high school and it was exciting to see that they made a steelbook edition with new cover art! Really leaning into the style and tropes of the cyberpunk genre. If you like intense action and futuristic gun fights, or even Cyberpunk 2077 and blade runner, this is a must see film and for the price you get a good deal for a fantastic film! Also recomend if you like The Boys on amazon. Karl urban gives a fantastic performance. Along with Olivia thrilby. Can't recomend the film enough!

I'm 69 and my son is 28 and we both love this movie. The one thing I HATE, is they didn't follow up with a sequel. If you enjoy a movie that is very well directed, great look in 4k, characters you really do care about and a feeling at the end that the bad people got exactly what they deserved. You will love this movie, if you like violence, but not nasty or killings just for the sake of killing, being stuck in a building with the good guys/girl and really thinking a lot of "How in the blank are they going to get out of this one.

The 4k Remaster of this movie was very well done. The clarity is excellent and the colors really pop with the right TV. The sound design is detailed and punches hard if you have a good soundbar or sound system. The movie itself has a well told, simple, entertaining story with solid performances and special effects. The action sequences are well executed with the moment to moment beats of the story without feeling forced or unnecessary. A solid and entertaining Sci-fi/Action movie.

One of the greatest action movies of all time and the single best comic book adaptation ever.

Fantastic Steelbook art! One of the best I must say. The film in its glory in 4K is an amazing and yet disturbing nature that is a fun ride from beginning to end! At the time of this writing for $19.99 if you are a fan or are a collector ADD this to your cart and checkout! Fantastic film that captures the character of DREDD, it deserves a sequel!

I had my doubts about purchasing this 4k disc. The The 1990’s Judge Dredd staring Sly Stallone was horrible. I read some recent reviews that this was an underrated ScI-Fi flick. I was not disappointed. Lots of action, good story, fast paced and a little different. Add the great sound and quality picture thru 4k and you have a winner in my opinion.

There are few films that make an impact upon initial viewing. Dredd is one film that takes you on a thrill ride from start to finish. The gunplay storyboard is literally taken straight from the comic book page. The acting is played superbly with great attention to subtlety and nuance. A great package with great steelbook artwork; a gift from the bestbuy gods.

Great movie even though not Judge Dredd world i remember from the comics. Props to Urban. Came in great condition, steel case looks fantastic & disc plays appropriately.

Coolest movie ever, Best style of Dredd. Great directing and acting. It's a shame it didn't do that well in the theatres and then only got a following after. This definitely deserves a sequel. Please make another movie or even this as a show with Karl Urban reprising his role as Dredd!

Terrific exclusive Steel Book from Best Buy! Fantastic 4K presentation of a highly underrated all-action movie. Best Buy packaging contains impressive art work that gives this item tremendous value for collectors. Highly recommend this product to all action movie fans.

Simply bloody and action packed with absolutely no heart, unless you count the one's being blown out the chests of countless of scumbags then this is the movie for you ! The steelbook art also happends to be iconic on this limited edition steelbook.

This is easily one of the top 5 steelbooks in my collection. This artwork is amazing!! Top it off Dredd is one of my favorite action movies. Headey and Urban kill it in this movie. Great from start to finish!

Amazing movie overall. Great action scenes and special effects. Really good acting considering Karl Urban never removes the helmet. Fun movie to sit and enjoy and turn your brain off.

What can ya say? A sweet steelbook blu ray of a great fun wild film in my book! Good'ol DREDD . Based on the legendary 2000 AD character . Very fun and one of my personal fave.s . Here's hoping for the long talked sequel .

It was nice that Best Buy and Lionsgate decided to rerelease this steelbook. I don't love the cover but it's a good quality steelbook. Package includes the standard Blu-ray which also included the 3D versions on it as well.
