if you're bored and don't know what to watch, give it a try, in 3D looks great

This movie is really frekin good. 90 minutes of pure action with some solid acting and special effects. Its what an action movie should be. This movie has a very low budget. It only has one location, but wow did they utilize everything well. As for this edition, it is great, but I wish they had also included a DVD. I cant share this with my non bluray friends.

What a great and underrated movie! The steelbook has beautiful artwork on it and comes with a cover to protect it even further. Once again the product loses stars because BB has yet to figure out a way to ship items properly. Underneath the slipcover near the spine was a small dent. This is just carelessness from the warehouse. Steelbooks are collectors items and Best Buy does not respect their own merchandise enough. Too bad there is no other outlet to purchase Best Buy exclusives of steelbooks. Hopefully a more reputable seller takes this over in the future. I can't tell you how many steels I have had to replace at BB and every time it's lime spinning a wheel. You never know what condition you will get.

This movie was a pleasant surprise, although anything written by Alex Garland is usually pretty great. Dredd is an all thrills and no frills type movie; it's action all the way through with no love story, no origin story, no fluff at all. If you like The Raid, you'll like this. And unlike a lot of movies, this one benefits from the 3D, especially the Slo-Mo scenes.

I liked the Interesting style of the movie. I wanted it for my 3d collection

Probably my favorite steel book in my collection. Not only is Dredd an amazing film but the art on, and inside, the steel book is awesome. Even the disc's have great artwork. Many times these steel books can be them reissuing the same disks but not this time.

I'm a huge fan of the original. Don't let this being a "remake" deter you from watching this. Think of it as during the same time but Dredd's brother was also a Judge and this is his story... It's a COMPLETELY different movie but is pretty awesome. The action is amazing, the villains are awesome and the ending will leave you wanting more but contently satisfied.

This movie surprised me I had no interest in seeing it back when it was announced and when it hit theaters. I was browsing Best buy and saw the 3D Blu-ray at an amazing price and just couldn't help but purchase it. This movie was pretty awesome the story wasn't too bad and the effects were pretty great as well as the action. It reminded me a lot of the Raid.

Love Dredd. I wish we had a few in each major city today. Cop, judge, jury & executioner all in one.we would get this economy straightened out in no time. Love the 3D version. Sucks that Samsung and LG will no longer make 3D TVs because i have about 50 3D movies. They claim 3D is dead. If it was dead why is Hollywood still making 3D movies?

This is a cool movie. Unlike the first movie, this movie is situated in a hi-rise apartment building. Normally I don't like movies situated in one setting, but this movie has plenty of action to keep you watching. A good collector's movie

The slow mo action sequences were great, I also like how the 3D version is integrated into the blu-ray. The acting was average, and the plot was somewhat predictable but all-in-all it was a pretty good movie. The main thing that bothered me was that Karl Urban (Dredd) didn't take his helmet off during the entire movie. It's just as good if not better than the original.

The previous Dredd film staring Sylvester Stallone has become a cult classic and rather campy sci fi film. This film nails the violent atmosphere of the comic in ways the stallone version never dreamed of. I can't praise this film enough. Hopefully a sequel of netflix continuation ends up happening as this action film deserves it.

Hulkamania is like a single grain of sand in the Sahara desert that is Macho Madness!!!! What does that mean to you? Buy this steelbook, yeah!!!!! It’s the cream of the crop, yeah!!! Too hot to handle, too cold to hold, yeah!! OHHHH YEAHHHH!!!!!

Bought this thinking it was the Stallone classic got this instead. No comedy relief, no justice, no LAW!! The actor hides his face the whole movie, sheesh, he probably hid it cause he knew this couldn't live up to the classic. Still I guess if you can get over the fact that Rob isn't in the movie you may enjoy it. That is if you like that sort of thing...

Had the original Dredd 4K release from 2012, but when I saw this 2021 SteelBook Best Buy exclusive, the new artwork on the case and discs sold me. Really impressive that it also has 4K + 3D + 2D blu-ray + Digital, need more releases like this!

I think I liked the Sylvester Stallone version a bit better. This definitely has better visual quality since it's newer. That being said I like Karl urban as an actor but he seems to not pick good movies as a lead character. Overall I enjoyed it. I hear that the 3d is great on a 3d tv but haven't had a chance to test that yet.

Let's be honest, sometimes one desires a straight up action film where you don't have to really think at all. And Dredd is one of those films. Essentially The Raid at heart, Dredd doesn't waste time setting the story in motion. Karl Urban is great as Judge Dredd, and this film makes awesome use of 3D.

Judge Dredd is not a flashy guy. He's not pretty, he's not complicated, he doesn't get along with people. He's a cop, judge and executioner and he's all about the JOB. At least he is in the book. He's not even a hero, unless that's what it takes to get the job done. Unlike the first movie, this one has him working, doing the job and that''s what makes him JUDGE DREDD.

Love this Judge Dredd! And I’m so glad I got a copy of this Steelbook edition because the artwork is amazing! Great addition to my collection! Best Buy please add slipcovers like you did on this edition to ALL your Steelbooks releases

I did not think much of the movie after my first viewing, . . . but after several more, this film holds up nicely. The hyper-realistic violence, the ridiculous amount of blood and the simple and straight forward plot just makes this film a fun way to waist an hour or 2. All of this is enhanced by 4K and HDR hurray
