This movie has been criticized for being too violent. It is violent, it's a comic-book movie, but very gritty. My only complaint about the movie is that there are not many locations after the film gets going, so the movie begins to look a bit "samey" after a while. Judge Dredd does not have as much dialogue in the movie as he does in the comics that I have read. If there is another Dredd movie, I hope it is based more on the person who Dredd is and used to be - and of course, the usual violence.

I wasn't so sure how this movie would end up, given how the first attempt at a movie adaptation was a failure. This version of Dredd is a REALLY fun film. Highly recommend!

I bought this copy twice (first on bluray) because he was curious of how it would look on 4k and it didn't disappoint!! The slow-mo action scenes look amazing

Probably one of the best action movies to come out in a long time. Karl Urban did an excellent job portraying the comic version of Dredd, very violent and very good movie.

Very violent, very loud, and very detailed transfer. Might not out- do the theatrical 3D presentation but the fine detail and colors are definitely superior.

To be honest i got this movie to see how the colors would fare on my 4k setup. I love the movie itself this reboot of Judge Dredd follows the comic in my opinion

Makes the old judge dreed look like a joke. This adaptation does the comic series justice but does its own thing at the same time. Had a blast watching it.

The complete package, awesome movie, 4k upgrade, amazing steelbook and a great price. Impossible to pass on it.

This movie was really great! I don't remember seeing too much in terms of promotion when it came out in theaters, but I'm glad I picked it up! Great addition to the collection.

This was the first 3D movie I purchased. I liked the movie already and thought it would look good in 3D. Some parts could've been better, but overall it was worth buying.

Great action, Dolby Atmos sounds incredible. Similar to original but totally different. Steel box has great art

I actually like this version better than the Stallone original. I like the fact that Dredd is a much shadowier character in this version than the campy character in the first.

This was a great movie. I actually prefer this over the original. I didn't see it in theaters, but with the blu-ray version, the graphics was amazing. The movie's plot was good to.

This movie is great fun with solid special effects and action, unfortunately the UHD doesn’t lend too much to the quality of the picture though

Dredd has great 3D effects and the movie has non stop action. The movie may be forgettable, but it is definitely entertaining with great visuals and over the top action.

It was a good remake or continuance, not sure yet which is which. Remember some of the first with Stallone. Great movie for the buck. Especially for blu ray with 3D an digital copy.
