When Dredd first came out, I had no interest in seeing this. I rented a few years ago and was blown away by this movie. It is a great ride from start to finish and I can't say enough good things about this film. This isn't demo worthy 4k, but it is still better than the regular blu-ray.

Steelbook collector here. This one isn’t as nice as the mojo release, but it’s priced fairly and visually similar. Good add.

The case is super cool and the movie quality is amazing and better price! A cool pick up, 10/10 would recommend for those who like this movie

Move over Stallone, Karl Urban is here! This is Judge Dredd the way he was MEANT to be! Let me start off by saying that this 2012 version is far better than the cheesy 90s flick. It gets everything about the character pretty much right. Its gritty, violent, dark and str8 up awesome. The bloodshed in this film is sort of a wink and a nod to those hardcore violent action films of the 80s and the cast is brilliant -- especially Karl Urban and his commanding presence and that freakin' CHIN of his, which is absolutely amazing! Not since I saw Michael Keaton in the Batsuit as a kid have I seen an actor dawn a mask (or in this case, a helmet) that suits him so well. He's perfect for the role! On top of that, the sets are amazing and the special effects are very impressive. Both of those elements really lend themselves to the whole shooter-video-game feeling of the film and it works very well. Plus the 3D is the cherry on the top. It elevates the on screen action that much more... Which brings me to the vital statistics of the blu-ray. This is very fine presentation in 2D and even more-so in 3D! Nothing ever pops outta the screen here, which is why I didnt give it a perfect 5 outta 5 (Im a sucker for gimmicks), but depth and dimensionality are smartly utilized, sometimes subtly and sometimes drastically, and the result is quite dazzling. Things seem pretty well seperated/layered at times, and though there are a few scenes that appear virtually flat with no sense of natural space, theres not enough of them to get mad about. There is a bit of noise in the darker hallway sequences tho, kinda looks like static or grain, but its not too distracting at all. The SLO-MO drugs sequences are a trip and, needless to say, very very cool! The sound on this movie is LOUD, aggressive and crystal clear. Dialogue might even get drowned out sometimes by all the gunfire and explosions at certain points in the film, as this is a bass-heavy and bombastic soundtrack. (C'mon guys. It is an action film after all) But make no mistake, I loved it. To me, its one of the better action soundtracks out there. All in all, this is a great buy and the price was hella cheap for a 3D blu-ray.

This Dreed Steelbook Artwork looks Amazing. Although this an Older movie, it looks Great in 4K. The Sound is Great also. Highly Recommend !!!

Great movie that was underrated when it came out. The special features are good enough, the movie is the real score here.

Great movie great 4k transfer! I owned this on bluray but quality is so much better in 4k. Everything is sharper and the colors really pop.

Dredd was already an awesome movie and this steelbook version just ups the ante with the cool artwork on the outside and inside covers.

Picture quality was awesome. One of the most underated comic book movies. 100 percent better than the stalone version.

Dredd was overlooked during its theatrical release but has since found some appreciation among aficionados of genre film. It’s not hard to see why. It’s a lean, mean ultra-violent sci-fi/action film that moves like lightning and takes no prisoners. Worth picking up!
