this disney movie always annoyed me as a child, but getting a disney cartoon on blu ray for this price was way too good to pass up.

wife bought it for our daughter, a little dated compared to newer toons so doesn't hold up to repeated viewing.

Still a favorite of the family after all these years regardless of our ages.

Not a bad movie. Not my personal favorite. My daughter who loves animals loved it tho.

What else can you say. A classic movie. Worth buying to see how far movie tech has come.

Shoppers beware if the disney movie( and only disney does this) has the movie listed as dvd-bluray it will come in a dvd case if its blu-ray -dvd its in a blu ray case

Dumbo is a classic. I do not know anyone who does not like this film. One of my favorite Disney films. It took me a while to purchase this “special edition” DVD of the film. I WAS really looking forward to purchasing it. But, when I did………. Different story. What “special edition”? There was NOT in my opinion that much difference than the 1st DVD release for the 60th anniversary from October 2001. The packaging inside left A LOT to be desired. Some special edition. IF this was a true special edition it would have had more printed material inside talking about the film, pointing out the features, etc. Has a have to fold open game for kids is good for kids. BUT ADULTS LOVE THIS FILM TOO. Where was a making of for the film? I would have loved to have seen something like that. Disney, for such a beloved film DO A BETTER JOB ON YOUR “SPECIAL EDITIONS”!! The 5 stars is for the film NOT THE DVD PACKAGE!!

Disney does NOT care about us anymore. Just released for the 70th anniversary of the film December 2011. 3rd time the film has been released on DVD. Apparently Disney thinks EVEYRONE has a blu ray player. I do NOT, can not afford one NOR the more expensive discs. This DVD is plain silver. There are a few extras. Film full screen again. If you want a good DVD of this film get the 2001 60th anniversary or the 2006 Big Top Edition. More extras, nice looking discs with Dumbo on them. Cut corners Disney & your customers will notice. The film is still a classic & great. A far cry from a lot of the animation done now a days. A class act & still a delight. Rating & recommendation for the film NOT for this DVD

I have not seen this movie on DVD but comparing to VHS this blu-ray is simply amazing quality. The colors and animation look great and it makes it hard to believe that this movie is 70 years old!!! Great movie and the message is still one that needs to be delivered today, ACCEPTANCE!!!

Dumbo is one of many important landmarks of Disney's history, and anyone interested in animation should not miss this. Featuring an all-star cast of Disney's top golden age animators, as well as a great story and many very memorable moments, this is another piece of history that belongs in any comprehensive film collection. The only knock against this disc is the 3D menu, which is absolutely hideous.

This is a wonderful story for young children....some of the Disney cartoons are difficult to understand for 3 year olds (not ours, but for some I would imagine)...this is a very simple and easy to follow story...

We are expecting our 2nd child in Feb and wanted to start purchasing all Disney Classics on Blu-Ray.. Perfect choice for our first purchase.

This was one of my favorite movies growing up. It has a few creepy moments, but all in all it is a wonderful film and a true Disney classic.

This is one that is a must buy for your child's movie collection. Cute, fun, and engaging, with an action packed story line.

This movie is a must have for any age, will have grandchildren soon but until then the wife and I can enjoy this movie.

I bought this for my 5 year old as a birthday present. The quality is great and its a classic movie she loves it!
