I love this movie. Very well made. Great cast.....

This is the best adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel, Dune. The cast and acting is excellent. The SFX is also very good. The director Denis Villanueve prefers limiting the use of CGI and opting for models in the background, which gives the film a more realistic look. The movie only covers the first half of the novel. Warner had planned to see how the movie performs before opting for the sequel. Happily, they decided to go with the sequel, which will probably be released in 2024.

Very interesting movie. Havent seen the original. Tried watching, too boring lol The cinematography in this movie is great.

Visually stunning, a very close observance of these complex books. Having said that, no film could convey all of the background supplied in the quotes that precede each chapter in the books; also slight liberties were taken with the plot. I really enjoyed the adaptation, I think by far the best attempt yet.

Great movie, can't wait for the next installment part to be released

This is a film I had been greatly anticipating since it was first announced, and it did not disappoint. The visuals and sound design are absolutely spectacular. You get completely lost in the world that is created. This is a film that truly feels epic in scale. Absolutely worth the 4K purchase.

Nice movie of this universe. Hoping that possibly future movies do an even better job.

Movie was ok didn’t know at the time of purchase it was a two part movie.

I've read the Dune novels and really enjoyed them. I have a fee boxed sets of the Dune Series from Sci-fi and truly enjoyed them. I think the new version of Dune was very good. Very good job with the characters and the cgi graphics. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Never read the book or saw that weird, David Lynch version, but this one was cool. Denis Villaneuve was the perfect choice to direct this after Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, and Arrival. Wish they wouldn’t have cropped from the original imax shots but the Dolby Atmos mix was awesome.

Awesome movie with great picture and sound. Shame there’s no IMAX shots though…otherwise it be 5 stars

Way too much hype for Zendaya, she was barely in it, good movie though.

A far better movie than the original one but i still find the original cast my favorite.

Video and audio are great with the right system. The story line is a bit odd and anti-climatic.

Enjoyed the movie. Good sci fi story line and reasonably good movie depiction of the book. Having read the book, I understand there is no way one can make a single 3 hour movie and come close to reflecting the epic nature of the story line. If you were to compare with other Dune movies, I would recommend the Dune miniseries that stars William Hurt as Duke Leto Atreides (Paul Atreides’ father).

This 4K disc is heads and tails above the Blu-ray - the picture and sound quality are excellent.
