    Long time dune fan so I enjoyed the movie. But if I’m being critical it wasn’t exactly exciting. I’m not sure this will have much appeal outside the existing fan base.

    Dune is a difficult book to transcribe into a movie format. I have seen the other Dune movies, and this one is the best. The CGI is solid and looks realistic. The movie does a good job being true to the book, and they do not alter for the modern era. I can't wait for the next one.
