I liked the practicality and originality of the body protection well suited for that type of weather condition. In this galactic group of kingdoms spice is the source of life and it only exists on one planet : Dune.

An excellent prologue

I have not read the books or watched the 80's version, so they have no influence on my reaction. However, it did feel like this was very much an "appetizer" and I'm hoping for the main course. This definitely has trilogy, or even quadrilogy, potential. Visuals are stunning and sound design is about as good as I've experienced.
