Nice special effects but rather boring, not worth the money

Visually stunning movie that does a great job at keeping you engaged. Can’t wait for part 2!

Looks like it's the first installment in a new franchise for Hollywood.

Very good movie with lots of action. I think that they could have put more of the story in the time allotted .

Never seen the original so I cannot make a comparison between the two. As far as this movie, it is entertaining

I didn't realize this was only the first of a planned three so I wish I had waited. Without going back to read the book again, I was a little disappointed in the lack of context and I think if you had never read the books, you probably wouldn't have any idea what was going on. Or, maybe I just expected too much.

The movie was pretty good but the real reason to buy this is because of the wonderful upgraded 4K transfer

Movie started slow but got better as it went .I wish the movie was longer so I will watch the next one .

Blu-ray movie was in perfwct condition. Good movie based on classic film.

One thing that's good this is definitely better than the original the cinematography is awesome the graphics superb it looks great on my OLED TV but the acting is stiff actually terrible boring I just really didn't like it but it's better than the first one LOL

I loved the first Dune movie. This one is great as well. Explains a lot more than what the previous movie did, however, at a cost. This ends just when it is getting interesting, which was a disappointment. Would prefer they release both parts at the same time. Wait until part II comes out before buying so you can watch the complete movie.

So excellent video and sound poor interpretation of the books. While the special effects are not as good the original with Patrick Stewart does a better job of telling the story

Much better than the original, but still lacking in comparison to the great book.

This is really a good movie, especially when it is on sale.
