Well this new Dine was not as good as the first one that was back in the 90’s. You couldn’t hear the thoughts of the people like in the book and the other movie. I would not buy it at full price.

Not too bad. like the first expect it to get better when they release the follow up films. I would wait till that happens to get this one. On its own it is not that entertaining.

Very disappointed! The original was much better. No wonder we got it for only 8 bucks!

Over rated. Story is disjointed. And the whole movie is filmed in brown. Yes it’s the desert but it gets old. Fight scenes are like watching a bad ballet.

Unfortunately the 4k disk was too dark & I had lost the receipt so I had to rebuy the disk. It happens sometimes. I watched the blue ray edition

Liked the original Dune. Maybe the special effects wasn't as good as the new one but at least it explained a lot more. It was too dark.

It's slow and boring 2 me. Don't know y it swept the Oscars this year.

Any fan imof the original should watch this one. Great potential. I cannot wait to see more.

Really wish i would have waited to buy until part 2 came out. Feels like half a story.

I am not a dune fan but my husband is. And this movie in his eyes was better than what i rated it.

It was ok. Had things in it that the other version didn't touch on and things that were omitted. I'd give it a 2.5 if I could because it's only half a movie. If I remember correctly, it seemed the studio wasn't sure they were going to do the second part until they were sure the first par would get good reviews. Makes me wonder how much effort they're going to put in the second half.

I love the artwork on the slipcover but so far the movie is just mediocre
