Best movie of 2021 in the best-looking steelbook Best Buy has put out in a while!

Amazing movie! This is a must watch for everyone of all ages!

Great movie, great packaging. Very nice addition to the collection. What more can I say? The movie isn’t for everyone I guess but it’s well made. If you liked the style of Blade Runner 2049 (which I did) then it’ll feel very familiar here. Also keep in mind it’s part one (of two I think) so it doesn’t really tie everything up at the end which some people get kind of upset about.

Ignore the one star reviews; they are related to the fact that Dune 4k and especially the steelbook ar hard to come by (an have sold out in most cases). This is as close to perfect of a physical release that you can get. Excelle t pixture quality and my new favorite Dolby Atmos teack to use when showing off the sound system! Case artwork looks great; doesnt get much better than this!

This steelbook is slick with a semi gloss finish and absolutely beautiful artwork! As for the movie… Once every decade or so comes a movie that transcends cinema. A film that goes down in history as one of the most powerful and iconic of all time. I’m talking Gone with the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. These movies are pilars in cinema, and in 2021 Denis Villenuve gave us one with his adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Classic Sci-Fi novel, Dune. From the casting, production design, cinematography, visual effects and overall direction led by Villenuve this film is quite literally a MASTERPEICE. Grand is the best way to describe it. I truly hope they re-release this movie for anyone who didn’t get the chance to experience it in theaters. It is a must see and to quote Zendaya’s Chani from the film “This is only the beginning”. That’s right, the studio greenlit PART TWO already and I LOVE that Vllenuve was bold enough to put in the beginning title card of the film PART ONE. Telling audiences, the studio and all those who were involved in making this epic, “The Story you are about to see is incomplete. And as incomplete as it is, it still manages to send shockwaves through modern cinema. Denis Villenve already had proven that he was a force of nature but this movie only sealed his title as one of today’s greatest working directors.

Wow...I remember how obscure the original was. This new version is great! The 4K transfer, the color tones and the sound! So much LFE I picked up the soundtrack! This will put multiple subs to the test. Can not comment on ATMOS, I have an older Denon, waiting on the 2023 receivers to come out. This is definitely one to have in a collection.

Fantastic adaptation. Special effects and cinematography are Oscar worthy.

Dune is an exciting and transcendent revitalization of the beloved Sci-Fi novel written by Frank Herbert. One of the best films of the decade so far, Dune places you in a newly created world of heroes, villains and giant sandworms. Dune is the Oscar-winningest film of 2022, and duly so. Don’t miss this film on 4K Ultra HD home video!

Very good adaptation to the original movie. We want to see part 2

I wasn’t familiar with the Dune universe before watching this one, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I honestly did have to watch it a couple of times to fully understand the different factions, characters, and the world as a whole, but it is well worth it. The visuals and sound are top-tier and is a great showcase for a 4k system.

Hands down, the best sound experience of any movie I've ever seen. If you have a proper surround or atmos setup, this movie is your reference material. The sound envelopes you throughout the film. It's also visually stunning. HDR really lends itself here as there are some really bright scenes and some really dark ones as well. Excellent part one, can't wait for the second half.
