One of the first movies I bought once I set up my dolby atmos soundbar and speakers. The 4k blu ray is the best way to experience the movie with its great atmos sound and it looks really good too. One of the best adaptations of a book to a movie.

While not the top of the line version that comes in a metal case, this two disc edition with a digital copy is good enough for my needs. Picture and sound quality is first rate throughout the 4K disc, much better than the average streaming service provides. Overall, very happy with this physical media purchase from Best Buy.

Finally able to see this movie but glad I waited for Blu-Ray. Fantastic picture quality, sound is equivalent to picture. Futuristic to a point, graphics are wonderful. Will enjoy this many times more.

I read the novel for the first time over the summer and fall before this came out, so Herbert's original was firmly in mind. This felt really true to the tone and feel of the novel, even when it strayed from the specifics of the plot. It feels big in every way and nothing is wasted. It's long but goes by quickly. And the final line of dialogue is kind of perfect. I enjoyed it a couple of times on the big screen and needed a copy for home viewing to prepare for Part 2. Now that I've seen Part 2, I realize that, just like the first half of the novel, this movie lays the groundwork but barely prepares you for what's to come. A great set-up.

This is a fairly interesting story. It held my interest for the entirety of the film, which is not the case for most big budget films of this genre. Great visuals, superb sound especially on a good surround sound system. I liked it, it was an event in many respects! In 4K well with the money.

I can’t wait for the other Dune movies to come out and complete this remake of Dune. This new version is very satisfying visually and to the ears of those with a home theatre. Buy it!

Great graphics, great acting, great story. Like an upgrade to the 1985 version. Really looking forward to Part 2. Really good service and reasonable price for a recent release.

This is a great movie and great 4K transfer for video and audio quality. However, it does not include any if the IMAX aspect ratio scenes which is raally a travesty for this particular movie. I did know when biying it though.

Got my copy delivered today because I PRE-ORDERED. All of the negative reviews are people who are just salty they they didn't, and therefore, couldn't get one. Of course this is in high demand. Denis Villeneuve is a genius. What do you expect? I genuinely hope more inventory gets released, because this steelbook is gorgeous, the movie looks incredible, and the Dolby Atmos rocks. 5 stars for every aspect of the film and this item. A must-have for any collector who's into sci-fi. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the disc or the steelbook if you're looking at the ratings in the future and it's back in stock. Grab one if you can.

Excellent reimagining of a classic. It's good to see dune interpreted without the 80s cheese and narrating with modern special effects. Excited to see the following sequels.

This is a gorgeous film that looks spectacular on 4k. However, though the movie includes behind the scenes, rhe supplemental martial could be improved. Overall a great buy.

I wish I could give a review of this but I have not had the chance to watch it. All I can say is a good friend recommended this and he said it was stunning visuals and audio that's why I purchased it.

Another Incredible Entre to Denis Villeneuve Filmography, A Strong And Cinematic Start To I Know Will Be An Incredible Trilogy And Series, Can’t Wait For Dune Part II, Long Live The Fighters.

I read the epic series of Dune many years ago, and have seen a couple of film versions of it. I find this new film to be a good rendition of the book. I was able to get it on sale, and as such it is a good value.

I must say that I've never read the original Dune book, maybe I will now, but I can understand how the universe was so compelling and spawned so many sequel books. A little cliché to say, but this was Star Wars before Star Wars was a thing. Young man going through the hero's journey in a sci-fi universe with an evil empire. But this is not very cliche. It has cliches, but the movie as a whole is more of an experience. Great acting, music, and a very tight story. Definitely worth it in 4K with the best screen and sound you can get.

I was a fan of the original version though dated, and this version is done very well also. I am awaiting Part 2 of Dune and I do not think I will be disappointed.

What is there to say? Finally, we have a big screen adaption truly worthy of Frank Herbert's seminal Science Fiction masterpiece. Brought to the big screen by Denis Villeneuve, unquestionably one of the greatest Directors currently in the industry. Best Buy has seen fit to house the visually stunning 4K in an extremely handsome steelbook featuring powerful, though compellingly subtle artwork. This film is a feast for the eyes, ears and imagination and the 4K steelbook is simply a must own edition of physical media which more than rightly deserves a spot on every serious cinephiles shelf.

Dune 2021 was beautiful. Story and movie was way better than the original. Visual was excellent. Especially in 4K. The Steelbook was rich in color and well done.

This movie is why I cancelled my HBO subscription. We really need to start getting back physical media. The movie? Perfect. But we're not here fo audience reviews. I don't have a crazy set up, basic 4k player and an oled tv. This movie made me learn how to properly set up the best 4k experience I can get out of my setup. If you're a Herbert nerd and haven't seen this and are skeptical. Grow up lol. First movie in years I can just throw on and be fascinated by it. I was worried how the pacing would be but feels way shorter and leaves you wanting more. I now only use streaming services as window shopping for physical media.

Denis Villeneuve knocked this out of the park. The story and performances are great in this film. This steelbook has great artwork and is a great addition to the collection. Can't wait for part 2
