Gorgeous movie. I missed this in theatres. Definitely need to watch in 4k with a home entertainment system. I would not stream this movie and watch through TV speakers. Can't wait for the second part.

Denis Villeneuve has done an amazing job in bringing Dune to life for a new generation, given just how complex the novel is. From the story to the characters, and places in it. This movie is an absolute visual master piece

This movie isnt anything new if you've seen the 1984 version of Dune. Repackaged with better special effects and actors that are better fits for the characters that they are portraying. This movie really shines in its visuals and soundtrack. If you have a Dolby Atmos system, this movie will make you happy. The sound engineer used the height channels for more than music and the occasional grunt or explosions. You actually hear sand blowing and bouncing off of objects amongst other things. Anytime someone uses "The Voice" it shakes the house subterranean violence. The director really wanted you to feel the otherworldly effects and power of it. This is a worthy purchase to add to any collection, especially for those with Atmos systems and multiple subwoofers. Great visuals on 4k and better tvs. This movie will switch from full screen and Imax to let you get the full depth and grandeur of certain scenes. Buy it !!

One of the best 4K Blu-ray’s I own. The picture, sound, and the entire tone of the movie are very enveloping and engrossing. As a huge fan of the books growing up this movie was such a thrill. I cant wait for the sequel!

Cool move. I like/loved almost everything about it. Never like Zendea, not in Spidey, and def not in this movie. I am still looking forward to part 2. This movie looks great in 4K. Dont buy normal BluRays, you may as well just stream then.

This is an excellent steelbook and I was surprised and pleased to see it restocked. The film itself is a reference quality 4K film with and outstanding Dolby Atmos sound mix. This is a must own for sci-film enthusiasts.

This is an excellent movie. It is SO MUCH BETTER than any other versions. Can't wait for the next episode. I also like the fact that they put out in 3 versions [Blu-Ray / DVD / Digital Download [unlike Disney that only puts out [Blu-Ray / Digital Download].

VFX is great, the story is good, but the pace takes a while to bring you to where they wanted to, and then...done until the next one. Not impressed and it was one reason why I didn't like the first version. You are just left hanging, wondering if they will ever make a follow-up, which they never did the first time, so...

I love this movie. Been a fan of Dune for 30 years and was really excited for this take on the Sci Fi classic. The picture on this was very sharp and almost as enjoyable as seeing it in IMAX without the risk of being around other people in these trying times.

Brilliant film adaptation of. Very difficult-to-adapt novel. Although much is left out from the book, the movie captures the feel and the main story beats perfectly. Great image and sound quality disc.

Audio is hands down awesome. Especially the first 5 seconds. Video is superb and represents the picture quality from its run in cinemas. Steelbook case is nice if you like the glossy kinds of steelbooks

I own the original Dune. I want to collect the movies with the children. Anyway back to this movie. This was exciting to watch. New characters, some actors I know from previous movies I've seen. I am definitely watching again.

Not a review of the movie itself but the 4K version. The 4K picture quality is excellent, as well as the lossless audio. Only wish these movies would be in full widescreen without the bars. Online order and pickup in store seamless. Thank you Best Buy.

Really nice steelbook for a great movie - highly recommend that you pick this up if you get the chance. No switching aspect ratios for IMAX shots on the disc unfortunately but that's to be expected. The picture quality overall is incredible on this one.

PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE. THEIR IS GOOD AND BAD IN ALL PEOPLE. SOME ACT ON THEIR HATE OTHERS DON'T. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST COOL. SOME PEOPLE ASSUME BEFORE THEY GET TO KNOW YOU, THAT YOU WANT TO HURT THEM BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD, NOT ALL PEOPLE WANT TO HURT YOU. SOME PEOPLE JUST WANT TO LIVE LIFE TO IT'S FULLEST. AND BE HAPPY. . AS LONG AS YOU ABIDE BY THE LAW AND TREAT OTHER PEOPLE THE WAY YOU LIKE TO BE TREATED. THEN YOU'RE FINE. BUT, IN THIS MOVIE. SOME PEOPLE HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY, FIGHT TO SURVIVE. THERE WAS MUCH ACTION, DRAMA, LOVE FOR HUMANITY SCENES AND SO MORE IN THIS MOVIE. I ENJOYED THIS MOVIE.AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SEQUEL. KUDOS TO THE ACTORS AND ACTRESS IN THIS MOVIE. BRAVO TO THE DIRECTOR OF THIS MOVIE, AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HELPED BRING THIS MOVIE TO THE SCREEN.

Don't believe the nay-sayers who don't understand Frank Herbert's story. Yes it's long and tells only half the story, but it's a great experience. Lush cinematography, and an outstanding Atmos sound track that will work your surround sound system!

Looks killer on 4k - miss the aspect ratio from Imax but still great video and audio. An amazing adaptation and a vast improvement over David Lynch's version, should have won Best Picture. My only complaint is having to wait for part 2

This film does full justice to Frank Herbert’s Novel. I remember reading the serialization in 1963-64 in Analog and anxiously awaiting the each episode. Previous attempts at making a film from the Novel(s), there are two that I remember, have been failures because they got caught up with the gee-wiz future background and missed the true story about the Human Condition and how little the far future might change it. I was particularly pleased to see “Part 1” displayed below the Title indicating that the production team realizes that the story cannot be told in a single film. I was also glad to learn that the green light was given for Part Ii after the excellent box office of the first weekend. The production values are spectacular, however they are left for the eye of the beholder to see, but do not overshadow the telling of the story. BRAVO!
