It’s a ok movie but nothing special. It’s a long movie that jumps around.

Good movie but hard for follow I liked the characters in the movie

Good start, but I hope they don't take long for the other 2 parts?

I can’t review because my disks does not play which is a bummer. You sit down to watch a movie and nothing. This occurs to both disks. I will still recommend buying this though. I just got bad disks and this is not the fault of BB.

I am a big fan of the Dune books. I got the first three for Christmas years ago and read them all before New Year's Eve, I looked forward to the 1984 Dune movie and was sorely disappointed. I bought this one figuring that they learned from the prior movie and this was going to be much better. Boy was I wrong. The books have a great deal of background and character development. This movie has almost none. If you have not read the books, you will not realize what is going on. If you have not read the books, you will be bored and confused.

I looked forward to another variation of Dune (I already own the original movie, the complete TV series). It was a disappointment. I would say that, even without all the computer capabilities at hand, the original was better.

Lots of violence, and too much focus on special affects. Not very creative. The physical DVD has two glitches mid-way through that freeze trackings requiring forced skips to get around -- a QA problem.

Not quite sure about this movie. Some of the action was good. It did not keep me interested. I only watched it one time. Not a good movie!

Spent almost 3 hours watching explanations of story history, situation backgrounds etc. But little if any carrying out the story plot.

This movie did not live up to the hype and should have been done as a single movie rather than drawing it out into 2 installments.

When you use the U.S Postal service for a customer’s order, why cant you put an “exclusive” steelbook in something like a reinforced box type packaging (as you’ve done before) or some packing stronger then a bubble pack type envelope?? I just bought the dune steelbook, received it with dents and dings in it!…use some common sense!!

I didn't ever get this movie? I let the time pass for me to return it. I would have done just that.

I can't wait for parts 2 Seem good , Very Odd Old one Dune cool ... New ? is okey ... I hope next good one ...

I found this version a very poor and weak shadow of the original Dune. The characters were also poorly portrayed as well.

This movie is painfully slow. I shouldnt have bought it and just tried to stream it somewhere.

Only half the movie. It ended half way through the movie.

If I had known that this movie had no ending, I would never EVER bought this!

Very unhappy to discover that this Dune DVD was only the first half of the movie!!! Nowhere on the cover or initial description does it tell you this is NOT the complete movie. Only after discovering this fact “the hard way”, did I find in the description detail that this was only “part one”. Sure would have been nice if that info would have been on the cover. , where it belongs.

I was so excited to finally watch Dune, so I pre-ordered this steelbook (guilty collector) only to discover upon arrival that they never packaged the Blu ray discs themselves. My disappointment was compounded when I realized you can return the item and get it replaced, but they are completely sold out.

The orignail is still the best. They need to start over.
