Looper is a good movie if you can over look its faults. I think that it has alot of good action, and an interesting plot line. Sometimes it focuses to much on the young looper, taking care of Emily Blunt. I think other then that the movie had alot of good action scenes. Bruce Willis character was very interesting, and did a great job of portraying an unstoppable terminator type hitman.

Picture quality was excellent. Apparently there are some “fake” 4K movies out there as well as genuine ones. This one was filmed and mastered in 4K so I actually noticed a difference in comparison to some of the 4K discs I have that haven’t been mastered and filmed in 4K. Movie itself is also very good.

This is an outstanding film about many different facets of a small part of WWII. I was impressed with how the director managed to weave three different story lines which each took place within a different length of time but still had huge ramifications for all other story lines. Also beautifully shot and very well acted.

There were three points of view in this movie. The trapped soldiers in Dunkirk, the civilian flotilla crossing the English Channel to rescue them, and the pilots of the RAF to support them. The story flips back and forth between these three with minimal dialog but with building tension all supported by a brilliant Hans Zimmer's score. You'll love this movie if you like WWII history.

Dunkirk is a beautiful war movie which explores the evacuation of Dunkirk during WWII. There is no thrilling victory, survival itself is the victory. The score by Hanz Zimmer and the sound mixing create a sense of anxiety that propels the film towards its conclusion. This film is a must have for any film collection.

Enjoyable movie. Only wish it was a little longer - it's about an hour and a half long. The action starts right out of the gate. Gives the same perspective about the events surrounding Dunkirk as Saving Private Ryan did for the Normandy landings - except the movie Dunkirk focuses completely on the events surrounding the evacuation itself. Looks fantastic in 4k, especially with HDR.

Dunkirk is an excellent historical drama that reflects the conflicts of individuals during war. The character development showcasing the emotional turmoil that people experience during war is superb. From outstanding courage to the instinct for survival, Dunkirk delivers. One of the best motion pictures of the year!

Dunkirk brilliantly covers the action on land, sea and air as outnumbered RAF pilots valiantly try to provide air cover for evacuation ships and the 400,000 British troops stranded on the shores of Dunkirk. Wish a studio would produce a remake of the Battle of Britain which occurs after the Dunkirk evacuation.

I'm not a fan of Christopher Nolan's best known works, his Batman films, so I'm usually surprised when he turns out something I do like. I thought Interstellar was very good but his latest film, Dunkirk, is an instant classic. I'll be stunned if this movie doesn't get an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.

Dunkirk is directed by Christopher Nolan and it is a great movie, story-wise, visually, and even the soundtrack. It can be enjoyed on many levels, and of course it helps that it is based on a true story. Dunkirk is a powerful movie taking place on land, air, and sea.

Probably one of the best war movies in the last 50 years IMHO. Uses 3 different timelines of 3 different groups of participants. Soldiers, airmen and citizens attempt to escape the German war machine toward the end of the battle of France. Not crazy about the artwork on this steel, but the movie is great.

Christopher Nolan has never failed on the story side but his film language was always very simple, which worked, but after tackling Dunkirk which is mainly dialogue free he was pushed to use his camera more and Dunkirk is a triumph of his ability to direct.

Loved this film.....! Full screen 4K viewing pleasure. Acting was excellent, soundtrack puts you right smack in the center of the action....aerial scenes were engrossing.....between the British Spitfires and German Messerschmidts, etc. I give it a 4 thumbs up.....(had to borrow an extra set of thumbs...) !

The director made an impactful choice of not adding much dialogue to the characters different stories but this movie is done so well you actually feel like you are experiencing the war from a soldiers POV made it much more realistic. Awesome film

Bought because it picks up where Darkest Hour ends. Birds eye view of the British effort to save 300,000 stranded troops. Seen thru the eyes of 2 deserters, a pilot, a Navy commander, and a small boat owner enroute to Dunkirk. Interesting but jumps around too much from one person to another. Watch twice to figure it all out. Pretty good overall. 4K was outstanding.

Christopher Nolan is perhaps one of the most successful and influential filmmakers of our time. I've enjoyed every single one of his movies, starting with Memento. Is only fitting that his latest, DUNKIRK, has come out in this wonderful steelbox. Highly recommended for anyone who is collecting his films.

I have to admit. I haven't watched it yet. I do enjoy watching war movies, especially around WWI and WWII. I heard this was a good film and on 4k it looked spectacular. I'm sure it sounds great too. I have a 5.1 setup nothing fancy like Atmos

Not just a war story. But a great True war story brought to life. The action scenes make you feel like you are really there. The carefully crafted characters and their plight make you feel what they are going through. This is not just another war movie. This is not just for men.

This was a surprising great film. The non-chronological storytelling really increased its watchability. The sound is amazing even though it is 5.1 and not Dolby Atmos. The visuals are stunning in uhd hdr10 coming from a 4k master of IMAX film footage. Basically, this is a uhd reference disk.

What a amazing movie. The pacing, the frenzy and state this movie puts you in (and the cinematic "tricks" it pulls off) are great. It's just a really intense, visceral movie that pulls you into war like no other movie before it. One of the favorite movies I saw in the past year.
