Excellent movie great picture quality and sound. I just wish this was mixed in Atmos especially since there’s planes in the sky where the Atmos sound comes from definite misstep. The 5.1 is great though just could be better with Atmos.

I highly recommend this film. The 4K transfer is incredible the sound is amazing. Acting everything about this film is just great if you haven't seen it the flying sequences in this movie . Everything about this film is just amazing please this you will not be disappointed. Enjoy

Is a great demo record for a home theater equipped with good video and full-blown surround speakers. Scenes in the movie are very spectacular but the movie concentrates on individual actions and neglects the big picture I would recommend reading a book first, describing this big picture

The film is a great 4K transfer, the disc is native 4K, also contains the proper IMAX scenes an presents them at more encompassing 1.78:1 ratio for the scenes shot with IMAX cameras. One downside is the disc is without a Dolby Atmos track however the DTS-HD 5.1 codex is still very good.

The picture quality of the Blu-Ray disc is outstanding. Also, with a good home theater surround system the dynamic range is very tall with a wide soundstage. From very quiet opening scene to the shattering of bullets along the street you are immersed immediately into the movie

Even if you don't get it, hate the plot, this movie is stunning to watch. The behind the scenes is almost as fascinating as the movie it's self. It's amazing how much practical movie making they used. I personally loved the movie and it's a great reference point for talking/teaching history.

Dunkirk is a real place and this is a story about real people based on real events. You get to see the best and worst in some of the characters and that makes it believable. Mom and Dad - Might want to watch it before allowing it to be shown to the family. It gets really intense in places.

this is not your typical war movie. It does a great job, sometimes without dialogue of helping you feel what it could have been like to be there and they did an excellent job of trying to grab the big picture, instead of making it about one person.

For a director whose current palindromatic film TENET could be a story told from any time reference, DUNKIRK is thankfully rather straightforward. The director also is noted for filming much of his work in IMAX, thus 4K shows that off best. I would stay away from TENET but go for DUNKIRK

This movie gives great justice to the story that not many of us Yanks know much about. The acting is minimal, but perfection. Anything with Kenneth Brannaugh is worth a watch. Tom Hardy's best role yet. He says only a few words, but he was perfect for the role. Great movie.

Besides being a beautiful and compelling film, I have to say this disc has one of the most impressive soundscapes I've ever heard. The DTS-HD 5.1 is dynamic, spacious and truly a reference home theater mix that needs to be experienced to believe. Great addition to the UHD library.

This was a decent movie and definitely worth a look but it wasn’t a great movie

The movie is intense and entertaining, but with a fully decked out sound system the movie gets so much better. Bombing raids and the dog fights in the air are much more thrilling with the boom of a good entertainment system that takes the movie to a whole new level.

I enjoyed the scene shifting and different perspectives offered of the same events in the movie. A creative way of seeing different angles. This makes a well-known event more interesting. One of history's greatest rescues and a must see for the WWII history buff.

The movie Dunkirk keeps the viewer engrossed in the evacuation of the British and French armies from Europe during World War II. It focuses on the lives on soldiers, sailors and individual people who risked their lives to save the British Army from the hands from the Germans.

I believe the producers and directors got this one right. Intense...But I do wish I would have had the chance to see it in the theater. The 4K DVD version did give a theater feel.. The story itself, does make you think - "Are we ever going to learn from history?'; especially in light of what our world is having to deal with today.

Disc was loose in the case. Returned the movie and got a replacement.

I would say the best way to describe Christopher Nolan's films would be BIG! Large scale, Large sound, Larch music, and Large scenes. I viewed the movie on IMAX originally. I now watch on 4K with my 65 inch TV. I get totally immersed in the film. A must in 4K.

I will not spoil any thing with regards to the story. I am a fan of Christopher Nolan. I love the Batman Trilogy. I also love movies about World War II, With those said I purchased the film, watched the film, and was very glad I made this purchase immediately thereafter.
