Purchased this on blu-ray to enjoy the superior cinematography and sound. I was not disappointed. Efficient storytelling. The movie follows three different storylines in three different timelines and manages to interconnect them all within only 90 minutes.

So happy to have this film on both Steelbook and digital! Steelbooks are great to archive your collection and keep them looking great! This is a terrific movie - exciting and powerful. Happy with my purchase!

Christopher Nolan’s does it once again and does what he does best. If you love IMAX, you’ll love this purchase. 70% of this feature was filmed in IMAX. Overall it’s a good film in general. One of the best in the decade. I hope the Tenet Blu-ray also has IMAX sequences.

I'm a history buff and I'm really into WW II. This film does depict the great struggle of England and to show how close the war was to being over and how close the world came to Falling. England was extremely important to the freedom of the world.

This is arguably the best movie of the year, and without a doubt Nolan’s best ever. The only format that truly does this film justice is 4K or IMAX. And since you’re more likely to be the owner of a 4K TV than your own personal IMAX, you new to watch it in 4K.

This is NOT the typical war film. First you will notice the mostly ambient soundtrack plays against type - no bombastic standard war music here! The film relies mostly on sound and visuals to tell the story. There are pockets of dialogue. Beautifully filmed.

Not really my kind of movie. Sometimes it was a little hard to follow.

I thought overall the movie was good. I haven't watched the one I bought yet but I watched the one my sister got and the only thing I didn't like is how it'd go from full screen to whatever the other screen viewing option is that they sell the movie in.

This movie is not your typical war movie, so if you are looking for something more Saving Private Ryan, look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for something with the solemnity of Thin Red Line but the scope of Apocalypse Now, this is your flick.

I loved this movie! I have seen the History Channel's recounting of this story from WWII. I believe this movie is very realistic and intense! I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie! If you're a Military History War Buff this movie is for You!

Awesome Action Adventure Film! A must see film for all ages. Dunkirk serves up and emotionally satisfying spectacle. It's a World War II action adventure about the evacuation of Allied troops from the French city of Dunkirk before forces can take hold.

Absolutely incredible picture quality and just a great movie from Christopher Nolan. Very clear this movie was meant to be reviewed multiple times and I could see myself watching this this several times over the next several months. Highly recommended.

This film is an experience that has to be seen and felt to be believed. I was riveted from begging to end and couldn't pull my eyes from the scream. It concluded with me shaking and anxious for the next half hour after the movie. Truly a masterpiece.

Christopher Nolan delivers again. He keeps churning out the hits. It does not matter what he puts out, it's all great. The suspense was amazing. Using a lot of actors that are either character actors, or unknowns was perfect for this story.

After all the time waited for the price to go down, I expected a lot more action. I have read about Dunkirk, and the English were in a very bad situation, and if the people of England had not rescued the men with privately owned boats and yachts, England would have lost their Army, and the War.

Excellent movie - should be academy award material. Special effects outstanding. Sure makes you appreciate what the British and French went through at Dunkirk and the miracle rescue they accomplished. I could hardly wait for the DVD/Blu ray release.

Dunkirk is a good movie that is often hard to watch due to the difficult situation for the 1000s of Allied soldiers backed into a corner. The acting was superb and the story is told from several vantage points. One will need to watch the movie at least twice to best understand the context.

This was a well developed action movie. It seems to me that more and more movies on World War II are slowly coming out. This is great as this war was one that should never be forgotten. Kudos to the directors who undertake these individual battles.

Awesome movie and great Clarity- but the main difference in 4K discs is the sound (minus a couple picture adjustments), and Christopher Nolan doesn’t believe in using Dolby Atmos. Great flick but his choice to stay away from current technology has sacrificed something that could have been spectacular.

I have a 4K tv with HDR and let me tell you. This movie is incredible in 4K. It’s almost like you are there. Read other reviews about plot lines etc etc etc. This movie retells a piece of history that should never be forgotten. A true masterpiece.
