The movie itself is very good and shows a grim outlook on one of the darkest periods in Human history. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in military history or World War 2. The case is awesome and the print on it is very well done.

Great movie. Very good film of how the men served in WW2 overseas. The 4K picture and the Dolby sound was really good.

Definitely one of Nolan’s best films. The cinematography is breathtaking, the action is realistic and terrifying, and Hans Zimmer’s score is both frightening and powerful. Definitely check it out!

This movie is very tense and the simplistic music that went with it was like chocolate and peanut butter. The surround sound was amazing and this movie hit hard with the bass.

This movie showed what people went through during the amazing miraculous evacuation of Dunkirk in WW2. The way the story was told made you feel like you were a part of the action. What the citizens accomplished was incredible. Great film.

One of the most difficult thing about historical documentaries is, realism. I'm not going to pinpoint my disappointments without giving away any part to spoil some one else's experience. Let's just say, it didn't have the impact reviews that the media have been going on about. I'm a stickler for details being 61 years old and a history buff especially from 1939 through 1952. Wait, one thing that really bothered me was, the jump from one segment to another. I got lost so I didn't understand SPOILER ALERT how a pilot in a Spitfire with a dead engine could glide without power for so long. And, Spitfires do not float level in the ocean let alone for as long as in one scene. The Rolls Royce Merlin engine in the front makes the plane in the water go down by the nose quickly because the fuselage is not water tight.

Such an amazing and encompassing film! I don't really like war films, but considering that this was a Christopher Nolan film, I had to give it a shot. Fantastic cinematography and sound design with pretty good, but minimal acting.

[SPOILERS AHEAD] This was a disappointing movie. Not a lot of actual war action, not much display of the bravery that was evident in the actual situation, a couple of main characters you'd really like to shoot, throw overboard, or see get sunk. About halfway through the movie I plain lost interest. Technically the Blu-Ray disc is competent. The color is good, the sound is good but not extraordinary. I'd give the tech specs a letter grade of C+. Average, passing muster, nothing to brag about but nothing to be ashamed of either. I usually keep all the discs I buy. If I loaned this out and never got it back I wouldn't notice it missing.

This movie was great in that you could see this historical event unfold from at least 3 different view points. Those trying to escape to safety, and from those trying to rescue them from the sea, and those trying to protect them from the air.

This is a wonderful movie, I didn't see it at the theatre because everyone who had seen it said it was unbearably loud. I had the best of everything, I controlled the sound and could sit in my easy chair, with a brandy in hand, and enjoy it

Nolan's probably my favourite director and I was curious how he was going to execute a war flick but he did it stunningly and flawlessly to his style. The Spitfire scenes are as good as any past war flick worthy of the "Battle of Britain".

Midway, tora tora tora ,saving pt Ryan Great movies

I was excited with anticipation of watching this movie but was disappointed. To me there was no flow, no continuity, in parts it dragged on. There were some very good parts but it left me wanting. Still a decent movie.

This movie is filmed/produced in a very unique way (multiple perspectives) which makes it that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this film for WW II / history buffs and advise that you watch it more than once to get the full effect.

I found this film to be both entertaining and informative. I knew a little about what happened at Dunkirk during WWII prior to the U.S. became involved. To see the film really brought home how bad things had been at that point of the war.

This style of movie was amazing. The director helped give us a glimpse of history and every minute was intense. I really didn’t know anything about Dunkirk until watching this movie. Very inspiring how nice some folks can be.

Excellent movie, excellent story! Christopher Nolan's masterwork in 4K makes the movie feel that much more real and is just stunning. The HDR really shines and enhances objects in every shot. Must own!

Christopher Nolan makes another masterpiece with Dunkirk. If you are a fan you will enjoy this film, especially in 4K! The IMAX cinematography jumps out at you and looks tremendous. The sound will blow you away, so real and so loud!

My personal opinion it’s not my favorite Nolan film but that does not mean it’s not good movie at all in fact it’s own of the BEST LOOKING Nolan films apart from interstellar (my favorite) imax scenes look spectacular can only imagine them in the 4K version but still a great blu ray disc
