The DVD worked fine and it is a good movie. The special features disk included was about the movie - not about the historical battle. but it was interesting. I did not know the filming actually took place at Dunkirk.

A great war film which was actually filmed at Dunkirk and shot as historically accurate as possible. It was shot using both IMAX and Panavision System 65 cameras and lenses making for spectacular visuals. Don't miss it.

I love Dunkirk. It showed the grit of not only the grunt soldiers, but of the non-uniformed civilians too. The rescue efforts of the Brits was wonderful to watch. Overall, a very good and effective film. A refreshing change from the PC lunacy that infects most films today.

I didn't know too much about the historical perspective but coincidentally watch Darkest Hour and was even more excited to get the details regarding Dunkirk. Enjoyed watching the movie and learning the history behind it!

I wasn’t aware of the British citizens armada that went to help the soldiers in France. The way all the storylines come together is incredible. It’s inspiring, heartbreaking & important to watch. You won’t be disappointed.

Not the best war movie of all time, not nolan's best film, but this is another masterclass in storytelling from one of the best directors working today. Very little dialogue and character building, but the way the story is told and presented makes it just as impactful.

This is one of the best films of 2017. From the very first scene, I was on the edge of my seat! Not only are the war sequences thrilling and absolutely intense, but the film still has heart and many touching moments.

Very big fan of this film. It definitely was not was I was expecting. It seemed to be more of a survival film than a war movie. Shined a light on a part of war that we usually don't hear about. Highly recommend seeing.

This is not a typical film. It’s not so much a story, but a group of stories told from different viewpoints all combined to produce a tone and feel that is hard to describe. The 4K UHD has an understated beauty.

The HDR really makes a difference! Wow, I never thought my picture could get better than 1080p. I stand corrected. I got a 4k hdr set, and a 4k hdr Blu-ray player for black Friday, and all I can say is wow!

This is a fantastic story with great acting about a story that was not well known. A great looking film that is well worth owning and watching over and over. The aerial dogfight scenes alone make this worth owning.

Very nice surprise when opening the Steelbook that the color matches the tone used in the movie. The back has a beautiful picture of the sailboat in the movie. Got it to put my 4K disc inside of it to display. Highly recommend!

I just finished watch this movie today and this is one of the best quality. You won't regret buying this movie in 4K. The story it self is not too bad.

Excellent historical movie. Tells how Great Brittan prevented a total defeat in WWII of their troops pinned down by German forces in northern France by by pulling off a miraculous evacuation using private boats.

I kept expecting a bit more. Nice production values and great aviation footage. I actually found the documentary by the same name, and with some of the same actors, to be better. This was not a complete documentary nor a complete drama. Something felt missing.

This was my first 4k disk, thus, it was gonna be gorgeous. In that respect, it did not disappoint. I could wish for a stronger story line, but this one did pull the strings at the right time. Predictable, but beautiful.

It's easy to see why "Dunkirk" was a Best Picture nominee for the 2018 Academy Awards. The sub-plots keep you on the edge of your seat, and the 4K digital transfer is excellent. A must-have for all movie buffs!

While this movie may not be as upbeat as or fast paced as other war movies, the tangible tension you feel while watching from the perspective of these real heroes is very engaging. You can’t help but wonder what you’d do in a situation like this. Great movie!!

The picture quality is the best thing about this film. The story itself is way better than people say it is. I really enjoyed this film and would recommend it especially for those that like war based movies.
