Fantastic cinematography that captures the desperation and isolation of soldiers waiting to live or die as they are trapped by the English channel and German forces. Lack of CGI and awesome sound make it a realistic experience.

The movie Dunkirk is well written and explains the evacuation of British troops from Mainland Europe during WW II. A few historical issues but should not distract from enjoying the movie.

Wow, what an amazing cinematography enhanced battle of the wits. Who would have known the actors could have carried on that long with gibberish and still had time for crumpets.

Dunkirk is a visual wonder to watch, the way the movie portrays different characters on separate timelines all coming together at the end is unique but it can be confusing to the viewer.

Great movie but hate to see Nolan making such masterpieces and yet never winning the coveted Oscar. May be the awards are overrated but this movie is awesome especially in 4K.

Although it was a great movie I wish it didn't have flash backs and fast forward type of story telling. Other than that, I was entertained and look forward to watching it again in the future. A good addition to anyone's collection.

Nothing will ever be better (in my humble opinion) then Saving Private Ryan.. But this is way up there!!! From the first scene all you will say during the movie is Run.. Run.. Ruuuun!!

I got this movie because it was on sale and I wanted to use it for history class just in case I need something to show

The story of Dunkirk was great, but there was way too much talking for me and not much events to feast my eyes upon. I would gladly watch it again to absorb more of the movie, but for a first time watching it was a little boring.

This is a true documentary movie which definitely must be seen. It gives the true historical overall picture of the struggle of war. Highly recommend

Great movie. Obviously cannot speak on the content of the movie...no spoilers. However, can comment on the excellent cinematography and amazing scenery. Buy the movie for that alone!!!

This is definitely not my favorite Nolan film, but I've yet to find a bad Nolan film. This plays with time in an intriguing way and brings a true story to life in a new lens as well. Great war epic.

I loved the approach of this film being told from the different perspectives involved in this story. Would definitely recommend watching even if it's not in 4k HDR, this is a must see.

The movie itself is interesting because the enemy is hardly shown. It's worth seeing. If you are going to watch it, Blu Ray is the best format. Its sharp and clear. Shipping was quick!

My daughter actually likes a war movie! This was very well made with somewhat limited dialogue that allowed the visuals to tell the story.

I had never heard the story about Dunkirk before seeing this movie, but it did inspire me to learn more. It was extremely powerful & moving to see the sacrifice that so many made surrounding this extraordinary event.

Interesting take on a couple days of WWII where the British were being overrun and had to retreat. Interesting how the rescue took place.
