With all the great WWII movies, I was expecting a much broader story. It seems as though it was made as another "everyone loves Kenneth Brannah" film. We're talking a rescue of 300,000 and they hone in on about a half dozen characters. {Not exactly "The Longest Day"} I feel it was a story that should have been told years ago but in much larger scope.
