    Bought batteries for smoke detector. They are still working in smoke detector. But we'll have to see how long they last before having to be replaced.

    Standard Duracell 9 volts. They will probably last a long while in usual usages of 9v's (smoke detectors, thermostats, etc.) but if you're burning through them rechargeable is the way to go with how much these each cost.

    Superior to all other batteries in no way, because they are batteries. Buy them if you want 9 volt, don't if you want AA, AAA, C or D.
