Thank goodness these were by the checkout, because I was so focused on my purchase. I didn't even think about the batteries. SO I grabbed the smallest package available, the 4 pack. Oh yeah, this pack will last me a year, or maybe I'll finally get around to changing the batteries in my remote controls. But I'm sure the cable box remote will use AA. :( Great, now I have to go back. "Son of a .....!"
