Duracell batteries are great when used soon after the purchase. However, they do not have good shelf life. I have repeatedly found that the Duracell batteries stored in my hurricane kit have leaked and became unusable 2-3 years before their "guaranteed life" expires and it's a hassle to get them replaced.

These are the industry stand battery company. Hard to beat the copper top. These work great and have a long shelf life of almost 10 years for stage. great to have on hand in case you need them for an elegancy or other uses.
