    i bought this initially for my guitar amp so i could plug in my headphones and just jam. plugged them in and got a noisy feed back thought it was my headphones but tried another pair and got the same problem. then i thought it might be the amp, got the same problem on a different amp.

    Plugged it into the receiver jack and you can still hear the sound thru the speakers.
