The way this item was made, you can not put a plastic bag in it and see when it is filled. The one we had before had an opening at the top where you could see when the cantainer was getting full.

Product was easy to install, but I am still having difficulty getting the router tools on my computer. The instructions for doing this are quite vague. The disc that came with the router has a guide file, but it is in a foreign language and I can nowhere find a button to change it to english.

Although I can shred paper I no longer have the ability to do so automatically. Using it as I am supposed to I heard a crack near the top of the unit and since I have to shut the power off after each use. As it will run constantly if I don't.

The first item I received did not have the collection container included when it was delivered. I took it to the store and they were very helpful and assisted in ordering another. Once I got it I have had no issues and it works great

So far it seems to do the job just fine. The top part which houses the cutters and motor have some solid weight to it. Which should equate to a strong motor that should last long...we shall see.

Like most all other Dynex products, this is a quality product that is well worth the investment.

A- product....don't like the smell but easily resolved with a fan while shredding. It's not an intense metallic smell but it is noticeable.

I got this to use at home. Works great for small jobs. The only downfall I can see so far is you can't put a bag in the bottom of the can.

We compared other brands in this price range and the Dynex had more features and was better built. It was very easy to set up and we have used it for a while and have no complaints.

I have a bad history of breaking shredders. So far I have had great success with this shredder and not burning out the motor. However, just in case I did purchase the 2 year warranty.

This shredder is great to have to be sure my personal information is protected. I had to dispose of so many years of personal records that it had to stop to cool down. I like the warning light when the bin is full.

Thanks to the previous reviews I picked this model, and I'm glad I did!!!! It's a lil bigger than I thought but its certainly great quality and not as loud as my older model!

As mentioned, I am very pleased with the product, and eventually did get the instructions in English. That was the only hassle - a lot of back and forthing via e-mail, it took about a month, but eventually got done.
