I haven't had the shredder long but it works great right now.

Great for home use. I know why there is a handle. Makes the constant emptying easier. And do empty to avoid jams. Also make sure to lubricate. A bit loud, but no more than expected.

This shredder is really great. It has a good price and it does exactly what it's suppose to do. It shreds documents so well that you never have to worry about someone finding your personal information after running documents through this.

This shredder does a very good job but I have to tell you, its a mess to empty. The bin is not tall, so paper stacks up in the basket and requires frequent emptying. When I do so, lots of shreds stick to the head and make a mess all over the carpet. Wish I had bought one with the pull-out basket or a larger container, or both. Have had it 4 days, so can't speak to the durability yet. Seems to be a sturdy shredder, however,

Shredder works great. I have had no problem shredding as many as 8 pages at a time. Shreds paper in small cross cut pieces. Use on a daily basis.

This shredder cuts up old credit cards with ease and full envelopes full of credit card offers. You never have to open the envelope. It cross-shreds perfectly into unreadable confetti. I fully recommend this unit.

It does a great job of shredding. It did great on the box of paper I needed to shred. I had it done in no time. I bought this shredder on the reviews that was on this site. I wanted to let others know that I am fully satisfied with my purchase.

Pros: 1. Does a decent job of shredding typical home use materials (mail, etc.). 2. The waste bin is very easy to empty. 3. The size of the shredded material seems to be small enough to protect you from someone misusing the information contained on the document. Cons: 1. The slot for inserting the documents is very narrow. If the paper is kinked or folded in any way it makes it difficult to feed into the shredder. 2. Although it says it is a 10 page shredder, it will bog down like a semi-truck going up a mountain road if you insert more than 6-7 pages. All in all I believe this is a decent shredder for the money. Just don't try to over feed it.

There seems to be no load on the motor. That's been a problem on others. This cuts it all and the bin is easy to handle. A really good deal for the price. I'd say it is as good as an upper priced shredder.

After months and months of procrastination, I bought this for my girlfriend for Xmas! I am such an awesome boyfriend because she can now shred credit cards and paper and all kinds of stuff! She doesn't know why we would want to shred CDs/DVDs, but we will eventually probably. Anyway, the paper goes in at a weird angle compared to my old one, but once you get used to that, this shredder works very well. It eats credit cards without a problem, which is great nowadays as I am so sick of cutting them up into little pieces with scissors. Thanks DYNEX!

Does a great job shredding documents/paperwork/credit cards.

It's not the best looking, but it does its job. It shreds a significant amount in one go, and the speed is decent.

For th money this is a great shredder. You can't go wrong.

I am now at ease with my shredder. So much better than just throwing away your papers in the trash. People really do go through your stuff and now I don't worry about that anymore.

I had it for 6 months and the gears broke and their is not replacement for bad gears. Company recommends to buy new shredder with no discount or prorated price.

This unit is so loud it scares my pet and sounds like a wood chipper. It is going back today.
